Please keep this show --- It's one of the few that have popped up in recent times that shows any syndication value whatsoever. Remember that even though reality TV will make you money in the short game, in the long run it is quality scripted programming that keeps viewers loyal to a network.
Hands down: best new show of the season, probably even the best show period. The writing, the acting, the humor, even the cinematography is good...lets have a few more seasons....
AD is the funniest and brightest sitcom on the air today. To cancel it would show true ignorance on the part of Fox. Put it in a better time slot to improve ratings.
this show is hands down the best show on television right now. the best writing, and the sarcasm is spot on! save this show, most people are sick of reality television!!!
Amazing writing; pitch perfect acting from every single character; it's hard to say this, but --- Arrested Development is consistently superior to the gold standard -- Seinfeld.
This program could easily anchor a re-organized NBC Thursday or Tuesday night.
I love this show... but I fear it will go the way of Undeclared and Andy Richter.
If every station cancelled comedies after one low rated season, there would have been no Sienfield or EL Raymond.
time slot against the Sopranos is splitting the small core of intelligent TV viewers out there... make sure you give it a chance, the show is brilliant (and I didn't realize it until I had seen a few episodes).
Why do all the greaatest shows get the axe?Stupid, stupid people. All other family shows are formula, predictable, predi ctably boring!!Do NOT cancel this show!!
AR & Malcolm is a great 1 hour slot that I actually program the VCR for just in case I don't get home in time. With all these Reality TV shows, which I detest, my VCR doesn't get used much anymore. With the good shows being canceled my VCR may only be used as a clock.
You betta not cancel Arrested Development !!!!! I mean it, don't make me come down to the Fox network. I don't know why y'all tripping ? Arrested Development is the best thing you got going(considering you canceled Andy Richter and Wanda At Large. And don't get me started about the Luiz Guzman show, y'all didn't even give that a chance). Oh my god, don't even let me have to mention The Family Guy. Boy, y'all need to realize when you have a good thing on your hands. Leave Arrested Development alone !!!!
You can't cancel Arrested Development because I haven't even seen the first episodse yet, because it premiers on NZ television tonight, so youj can't cancell it!!!!!! I've opnly seen the adds and I already love it!!!!!!!!!!
MY Gosh! I think I might go into a deep depression and cacoon for six months if they pull AD off the air. This is a wonderful show that brings a fresh brand of comedy to TV. I love this show and follow it closely. If it is pulled, I will dislike FOX very much!
Most intelligent comedy in years; if FOX could better advertise this show or put it in an appropriate time slot then it would garner the audience it deserves. But whatever, if FOX passes on it, hopefully HBO will pick it up and create the funniest hour on television: Curb Your Enthusiasm followed by Arrested Development.
This is one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. I'd hate to see it get canceled before it even gets it's chance. I've seen too many good shows get taken off too soon, and I hope you dont make the same mistake this time.
Thanks for the laughs.
Please don't take AD off the air. It is one of my favourite shows -- one of the best ones I've ever seen, in fact. It's simply amazing and I might just die if you took it from me. You wouldn't want the death of a young girl on your hands, now, would you ?
PLEASE keep this show on the air! I am not one to sign petitions but if ever a show deserves a chance this is it. I am very impressed that FOX has really been able to come up with the most creative shows on broadcast tv. I think Cracking Up is really funny too. AD is a rare find. Don't give up on this.
AD is inspiring and life-enriching. I've always hated prime-time programming, so AD is the first real show I've watched weekly in ten years. This has got to signal an untapped demographic, like, say, intelligent, sensitive people (we buy stuff too).
