This is very possibly the best comedy on television. It could possibly revolutionize the genre. This is the kind of show which takes a slow build-up by word-of-mouth. Remember: "Cheers" and "Seinfeld" took some time to build their audience, too. Show patience. Please give AD a second shot and put it into your line-up next season. Show that FOX is better than its current reputation among fans of watchable television programming.
You just keep killing off the shows never allowing their following to develop - this is one of the best shows to come along in a very very long time!!!
This is one of the best shows I ever seen. I think it is the type of show that people need to see in it's entirety to reallty get it and it will take time for it to grow on people too. Please give it another chance !!!

Age 31, Salary $90K, Graduate school educated. I buy products advertised on great shows like AD. FOX! I am typical of this shows demographic and watch AD religiously. Don't throw away an amazing revenue opportunity and advertising opportunity for your sponsors by ditching Arrested Development!
I look at it this way, if Malcom in the MIddle is good enough to be on for so many years, then so is Arrested Development. In fact, why dont we replace Malcom with Arrested? I hate networks who keep bad shows on TV!
one of the best things i've seen on Tv in years. really brilliantly written, full of wonderfulness. please don't canel it. give it a true chance to live. the problen may be that it's up against the same time slot as the sopranos. would an new time or night help get the viewers needed? please give it a chance.
This is the most creative and entertaining show on television right now. With all the older sitcoms ending, Fox would be stupid to let this pass them by. Don't cancel Arrested Development!!
Arrested Development has great writing and a great cast! This is the funniest show I've seen in years. Give the show a chance to grow and find it a better time slot. Once people see the show they'll be hooked!
Arrested Development is the smartest, funniest, and most creative comedy on TV. It would be a horrible mistake for FOX to cancel it. Maybe they should quit moving it around the schedule and give it a chance to develop a viewing audience. Not mainting a constant schedule is the worst thing a network can do for a bright new show.
Friends is finally leaving!!!! Don't cancel the only quality show that will fill the sitcom gap. Arrested Development will bring Fox the rating highs... promise. Keep quality -- Cancel crap.
This really is a great show. Even the filming looks great, and fresh, much different from other shows. And the story is very funny, yet very interesting at the same time. So come on Fox, keep Arrested Development on the air!
Arrested Development is one of the great shows that has a ridiculious amount of potential for greater things in seasons to come! This is the only show that me and all of my friends watch! It shows intelligence, Comedy, and is relatable in real life. The Casting is perfect! All of the classic modern-day personality types are portrayed in this. Fox has made some questionable decisions regarding its cancellation of shows. Meanwhile the mindless shows still rave prevalent. No offense with that last part, just expressing objective criticism.
I will be buying this series on DVD.
I don't watch much TV. Simpsons. South Park. Seinfeld. I'm not going to waste my time staring at the TV when its just mildly amusing. It's got to thrill me. And AD does just that. It is up there with the greatest shows of all time - even with just one season under its belt. I think keeping this will give you a critical and (eventually) popular darling that will rival the legacy of great comedy series past like Seinfeld.
This is an excellent show. It has great potential. Think of whats going on with Family Guy. It comes out on DVD and sells like crazy and so FOX wanted to create another Family Guy Season (So I've heard). Please don't make the same mistake with Arrested Development. It is a great and hilarious series.
Why cancel a great show with poor ratings? Fix the marketing. Air some of the funny commercials. Get people hooked. I've been growing viewership by word-of-mouth and nearly everyone I tell loves the show, they just haven't heard of it.
I'm in medical school and NEVER watch TV anymore, except for one half-hour a week. Arrested Development is quite simply the best show I have ever seen.
This is a brilliant & hilarious sitcom. I discovered it only last month after stumbling upon an AD marathon on fx. Give others a chance to catch on. Obviously, because of its rather large cast and its use of multiple storylines it's going to take a while for people to take to the show. But viewership for quality shows such as this does not shrink; it can really only grow.
This is one of the best shows on TV. Give it time to establish an audience. Imagine if Cheers or Seinfeld were cut short just because people didn't realize their brilliance early on.
