This is probably the best comedy show to come out since Seinfeld (and that says a lot). I love the highly original dry humor that's so rarely seen on tv these days. EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH IT!
Please promote and reschedule - I know numerous people who are long time Alias and Soprano fans that won't give it a shot. Give everyone a chance at this great show!
A witty show! Fine writing, well casted, bright new ideas ..........no wonder the fools in charge want to cancel it. SAVE INTELLIGENT TV - keep making "Arrested Development"
Arrested Development is the only show on T.V that I actually look forward to watching. If it was taken off the air I would go into a deep depressiona nd become a heroine addict. (well maybe not) Plus Jason Bateman is sooo sexy!
Like so many other shows on fox this one is critically acclaimed but not catching on. Luckily this one and tru calling have been renewed and fox is finally seeing that these shows need time. I think it started with the renewal of Family Guy. Although wonderfalls was still cancelled i think fox is finally seeing that these shows are worth keeping no matter what the ratings say. The signer ben is right. Seinfeld sucked in the ratings at first but eventually caught on. Although fox put crap on this summer i will still be there in the fall for season 2.
it would be such a shame if the best sitcom to hit my television in years got cancelled. sienfeld was great but (i'm gonna go ahead and say it) arrested development is a superior effort. well done!!
Arrested Development is perhaps the best sitcom since Seinfeld, and the first season of Seinfeld sucked. It would be a shame if Fox were to dump the smartest, funniest show on network TV and keep drivel like The Simple Life 2.
Please do not cancel this show! It is the only “primetime” television out there that I watch. If it is cancelled, I can guarantee that my family, at least, will no longer be watching FOX on Sunday nights.
This is absolutely the best acted and scripted comedy show on TV. I watched Quintuplets today and was disgusted at the waste of Andy Richter's talent and the awkward dialogue. By the way, what happened to Andy Richter Controls the Universe... that was a good show too.
Save this show! I think that the problem people have is getting through some of the humour. If you have no wit, you'd probably quit watching it. Then again, judging the people who run fox, it would not be surprising that the show gets cancelled.
I tuned in to watch arrested developement only to find some show called quintuplets, which is utterly repolsive, and not funny in any way shape or form. AD was the most innovative and original shows on tv and I hope it is back on the air very soon.
If you get rid of Arrested Devolopment, I will never watch fox again. It really should go on DVD and is the 2nd greatest show ever made and the best show on-air(the best show ever was Seinfeld but it's close to matching it).
The humor on this show is so rare, so fantastic. As a culture, we have lost the sardonic humor that this show exemplifies, and we must keep this show and bring that humor back!
This show is absolutely hysterical. It is a show that has mature comedy, something not a lot of people understand. Give it time and it will be successful. This is the first show on FOX that is worth watching since That 70's Show.
Arrested development is a well written show with the perfect combo of characters to pull off the dysfunction! Remember, Seinfeld aired a couple of seasons before it really took off. . . give AD a chance people!!
