This is, by far, the best comedy series ever written for TV. The actors are as brilliant as the writers and we implore you to keep this show stay on the air!
Please do not cancel arrested develop it is by far the funniest, smartest, and most interesting show on tv. To tell you the truth I had never heard of it, i saw one episode and became hooked. Since then I have showed family and friends the show and everyone has become hooked, it just needs time to catch on.
I have just heard about this show from a friend and i love it!!! I have been watching it a few weeks now and im addicted. Please dont take this off of the tv.
Arrested Development is intelligent,irreverent,fu nny and original. It is a great departure from all the cookie cutter sit coms on tv.It is a breath of fresh air in the stagnant era of bad sit coms and "reality" shows. The fox network is known for taking chances on shows that sre a little different and have made them a success. Examples of this are The Simpsons, Married w/ children and family guy.In the case of family guy the fox network thought they had their fingers on the pulse of the viewers of the show and that the pulse in question was a faint beat and the show was not being watched. As the fox network found out by high dvd sales people were watching family guy and they had made a huge mistake. The fox network should learn from its mistake and not make it again by canceling arrested development. I read an AP article talking about the cancelation of A.D. and it said american dad had 15 mil. viewers on its first airing. Maybe a reason for all of this attention was b/c fans of family guy were starved for new family guys or family guy type humor. It also could have been that it was on after the super bowl and a lot of people are still watching or have left their tvs on. If A.D. was on im sure there would have been about that many people watching. A.D. averages 6.2 mil. viewers according to the nielson.Couldnt this show be placed on another day or time? (or another network, if they are smart enough!) Canceling it seems a bit reactionary. This show is critically acclaimed and recieved many rewards and accolades. Nielson ratings are misleading, i get together w/ frinds in the college town i live in and watch A.D. with a bunch of people. The show is just catching on by word of mouth and if given time i belive it could be one of the best shows ever! (i digress)
Whaddaya, crazy? Since Seinfeld left network TV, there has not been a comedy with the wit and courage to put out laugh-out-loud dry sarcasm and silliness like AD. Doesn't Fox understand that if they let HBO buy this one that they are only depriving Americans of the kind of intelligent humor they deserve, nay, need?
Typical Fox. Would you like to have been the ones to pull Seinfeld before it found its audience. Leave well enough alone for now. If there's nothing in a couple more years ratings wise, then fine, can it.
Please don't take the best comedy on television off the air!!! This attempted action is typical of the right-wing ideology of Fox. Once they have a hit show, they get pressure from 1-10 people throughout the country to take it off the air because it is too "liberal". Please leave quality programming where it is!
There are so many choices on TV now that of course ratings are not going to be like they used to be on top shows. It doesn't mean they should be cancelled. This is a great show and needs to stay.
I heard that the show might be cancelled on Bob and Tom this morning and I shuddered, Arrested Development is the ONLY show on TV that I have ever wanted to watch every week...I am 20 and act like i am 12 when it comes on because i get so excited! Please don't take this show away!
