OK here's the deal: An adult I know hates anime. She says it is sending subliminal messages to the children of America. Still...in a way she appreciates it because it's something I like. (*cough* love *cough*)
No one can ban anime. It's not something harmful like drugs or weapons. It's just television programs. And hey, I'd take anime over MTV any day. As I've said to this adult: "Would you rather I watch MTV and *other* TV channels where every other word is a curse, people are blowing each others heads off, and *real* people are doing *much worse* things than looking up a girl's skirt?" Of course the answer was "No." So, I believe anime is much better than most programs America has to offer. If they're going to ban anything, they should ban that.
