I support this petition ,Thereshould be no bans on hentai or anime for both are forms of freedom of speech and by signing the bill Bush would be taking away that freedom and soon other freedoms will be takin by this example , this ban is being thought up by religous chritian fanatics and if it is allowed to happen what next , a ban on rock music , a ban on games , it is an alomost endless possibility , the seperation of church and state seems to be failing if a ban like this goes through so I say GO TO HELL BUSH AND YOU RELIGIOUS FANATICS!!!!

I support this petition for many reasons. First being, it's entertaining and harmless. It's cartoons, but does in a Japanese style, with different storylines for the older generation. I believe that anime keeps a lot of the teenagers in the house, watching TV, which in turn encourages teens to stay off the streets. I also believe this is a bad idea, because I'm worried about what the government will take away from us next. Taking Anime away may seem like something simple, but in the wider picture of things, banning anime means control and power. It's an abuse of the governments powers. If the government bans anime...what else? Books mentioning anything on magic? Maybe books that talk about or even slightly mention gay people. Maybe they'll even ban books that talk about a government that's fair...and doesn't abuse it's powers. Keep this petition going people. For the anime, yes. But don't forget this question: when and where will they stop?

Just because one person doesnt like to watch anime doesnt mean that they have to ban it to over 50% of the US population that likes to watch it. There is also shows in which there is no pervertness of nake girls for that matter like Ojamajo Doremi or The Third for example. Just because of two anime shows you cant ban the whole subject.

I love anime!!! I loved i since I was 7 yrs old! And it's sorta part of my life! And I love to draw them, every single day! If anime gets off tv then part of my life is gone! and i think this is total racism! anime is good animation and i love it very much!
