Wow this person must not have anything better to do, Isnt' it parents or guardians who buy anime books and movies for children, and everyone has some sort of porn lying around,I mean moms dads grandparents, everyone has porn, their complaining about anime? Shouldn't they be going after hustler and Playboy? And Japan is not dark, if they don't like it then why are they watching it? or reading it in the first place, and if Bush bans anime people are going to go after him.

I really don't get why bush would want anime off TV. it's totally irrelevent to him. He's just trying to take attention away from the war just like how he wanted to ban gay marriage. they can't just take away anime. There are a lot of people out there that loves them, and just for some people they are just decide that they are going to ban Anime. They are bloody crazy. There are a lot of Americans who absolutely love anime. For many of us that love started when we saw our first few episodes on TV and got hooked. Most anime series have really good underlying moral lessons that watchers can benefit from. If something needs to get banned from the air it ought to be the entire MTV channel.

Do NOT ban anime! There is nothing any worse in anime than there is in any other public programming and stuff. So if you want to ban anime because of it why don't you just try and ban the rest of the stuff on Tv
I love anime. I do a Anime Club at my school and it's a good thing that we have anime in our lives. It show us on how the japanease express there own way in life. Some have martial arts involved. Naruto for example (Ningitsu). And a lot of people including young teens 10-19 love Naruto and other anime's. Personally I think that anime has every right to stay.
I Support this petition with all my heart. I don't live in the states, I live in Japan and the only bit that will effect me is the fact that we're being racially insulted. Who ever said "Anime is a perverse, evil, insiduous form of animation from the dark land of Japan" Is a total retard. I think anime is just a great thing, she only mentioned two anime, and half the anime isn't even bad. Just because there are a few shows which are clearly suited for older people are read by younger people doesn't mean the whole thing should be banned.
if someone doesn't like anime, they should ignore it. I pray that this anime ban thing is just a rumor-but if it isn't, i hope congress/bush would do the right thing and leave anime be.
