Anime isn't bad....anime saved me...if I didn't dream of my characters telling me to get better...I would be in the hospital!!!Most ppl I know watch anime...and they're friendly and respectful....the rest I know who don't end up completely vulgar by watching reality movies that are so much more vile.....No one will stand for banning anime...that's like getting rid of even the old classics like Aladdin...Aladdin and Cinderella and other classics are all American anime..if they ban anime they'll be getting rid of them as well...what would the small children think...classics like Sleeping Beauty, Robin Hood, and Bambi......all gone...they'd be so devastated.....it's not right...we're American Citizens we should have a right to speak against this...and if they think that people will stay quiet they're wrong....

Not all anime is brain-rotting. Most of the time, it educates us Americans about Japanese culture, sometimes even other cultures as well. Anime also teaches many life lessons that most people have never been aware of. On top of it all, anime has millions-possibly billions of supporters. If anime is banned, then why aren't TV shows like The Simpsons or Family Guy? They too are cartoons, but they aren't as serious as anime.

If they plan to ban anime which is a book! Then they might as well ban all books and it's impossible because that goes against freedom of speach in too many ways. Why as far as I know you can even get books telling how to grow pot but those aren't illegal, just the person's actions after reading it and it should be the same for all books.

I support this petition because i believe that anime isn't bad. in fact i love it. Some people think that all anime is bad and influences sex, violence, etc. it's not like that at all. It's something that brings light to people's eyes. I love anime and what attracts me to it is how the anime reflects on our life and gives us hope. I really wish that more people watch anime because anime brings happiness, laughter, and sometimes tears to our eyes. I know that there are millions of people out there who love anime and if it is banned from america, the people of our country will never get to expirience the warm feeling of watching these japanese cartoons. Anime has helped me make better friends and has auctually given me a hobbey, I also found out I'm a good artist by practicing drawing Anime characters. If she doesn't like it why banned it and ruin it for everyone else, there are much worse things on televiison other than Anime. Try finding other things to banned other than Anime. Anime actually has helped me make friends. In my school, thanks to anime, I actually made almost 10 friends in one day. I could have NEVER did this without the help of anime. It gave us a common interest. Also, if parents don't want their kids watching anime, simply block it.
