I find it incredibly sad that such a good show like Danny Phantom is being overlooked and cast aside for these ridiculous new shows like The X's and 6teen. Shows like Danny Phantom and Avatar... THOSE are the shows with thought put into them. DP is a show that should not be taken off the air for mindless new attempts to rope in some five-year-old fans. Please, don't discontinue Danny Phantom. [Although I think that Nick is seriously going down the drain, with us having to ask to keep such a good show]

I understand why you'd want to stop the show after three long seasons, but it is one of the most successful cartooons ever, and it'd be a pity to see it go, especially since I'm sure its creator and director has many more stories to tell. Just think - I'm sure most of us were hoping for a big full-screeen movie at thend like what was done for Spongebob, too...

To Nickelodeon: "Danny Phantom" is probably one of the best cartoons currently airing- it's witty, well written, and knows just how much to take itself seriously, making it a rare gem of a show. It has a lot of potential, not just in story line, but in spin-off merchandise. Don't think there's a great demand for such items or that "Danny Phantom"'s fan base isn't large enough to merit it? You're wrong. More than just tweens and teenagers watch this show. I'm a college student who just turned twenty-one and I enjoy watching it with my mother.
Danny Phantom is the third most popular show. FOP I can understand, since it's been out for 9 YEARS NOW, but DP is only just entering it's 3rd year, and reaching the middle of the 2nd season. DP DOESN'T DESERVE TO DIE SO EARLY! KEEP DP FLYING!

I can't help but wonder what would drive Nickelodeon to remove a TV show with one of the animated world's most loved and looked up to hero in the world: Danny Phantom. Attracting an older age group than most of Nickelodeon, all it could do was help in Nick' overall ratings. Many people adore this show because it has depth, potential, and originality. This is terrible. I'm absolutely speechless and on the verge of tears. How can they cancel this?! IT's one of the BEST shows to ever hit Nickelodeon! EVER. Now, like its' awesome predecessors- AAH! Real Monsters, Rocko's Modern Life, Ren and Stimpy, etc, (aka DECENT NICKTOONS), it's sentenced to Cancelled Nicktoon Hell! I feel like I've just read a fanfiction where Danny has been killed or has given into his darker side. Complete emptiness is what I feel. Nick has made some STUPID decisions as of late, (destroying the giant slime machine, zoey 101) but this really takes the cake. And even worse- Fairly Oddparents is next! Please don't kill Danny!

I really think it's a bad idea for Nick to end the show, it has heart and is a good quality show. It'd truly be a shame if there were only 53 episodes.
Most of the people I know love watching the show and even the re-runs (in fact they love watching the re-runs).
There are also an insane amount of fans on the internet that would do something drastic if the show was ended with such a low number of episodes.
Danny Phantom is the highlight of my Wednesdays (I live in Canada and only get YTV) and I'd hate to see it go with such few episodes to its name.
