I think it wouldn't make any sense to cancel the show after it has only been premiering for a couple of years. Besides, the plot only seems to have just started up!

Danny Phantom is one of the few decent shows on Nickelodean. It lacks the drivel most of the other shows have now. Cancelling Dany Phantom would be as big a mistake as when Fox cancelled Family Guy.

I support this petition. This show has great potential. Besides Avatar, this is the only reason why I watch Nick. Danny Phantom is the only American made cartoon that has character development, enemies that aren't complete push overs, and characters that dont have an IQ of 0. It is funny for children, but it is also enjoyable for parents. The story has really just begun, there is so much for the fans to look forward to. But the main reason that Danny should remain is because it has good morals. It teaches children the right thing, and the meaning of sacrifice and responsibility. It is better then Fairly Odd Parents that is about a spoiled boy with irresponsible parents, who deals with all his problems the wrong way and never learns from them. And Timmy is never going to learn better. And Spongebob is not only pointless, but there are times when it is just plain disgusting. Danny Phantom caught my attention immediately, and quickly became my favorite show. Please don't cancel it. But if you do, then help bring some closure to the fans. With all the violent and sexually suggestive shows that are on tv these days, its hard to find anything near the entertainment FOP and DP bring. This cartoon is the best on the air and is very important to many people. Canceling Danny and FOP is probably the worst mistake Nick has made since dragging on SpongeBob until 2008. Well, I'm not sure what came first, but that's not really the point. Anyways, DP would've killed in the ratings had it been able to go farther. It would've kept Nick's reputation of good shows up, as well. But, alas, all good shows always seem to get pushed out by the awful ones, do they not? Invader ZIM, for instance. Great show, but only got one season. ;_;
Don't cancel Danny. It would be a horrible mistake, Nick, and your reputation may as well go down the toilet right now.

I don't see any reason at all to cancel it, that has me very confused usually you cancel a show when it's losing popularity, not when it's gaining it. I really hope nick reconsiders and that this petition along with all the letters and emails move at least one of the producers at nick.

This is one of the most creative, humorous, outstanding cartoons I have ever seen, and losing it now would be a terrible thing. It's immensely popular with all ages (me, my brother, and my sister all love it, our ages are 18, 14, and 10 respectively). There is so much material left to explore- such a popular show simply can't end now.
To replace it with a show like The Xs or Catscratch is an insult and will only hurt Nick's ratings.
