I support this petition. You cant take off Danny Phantom. How can you keep shows like Fairly Odd Parents and take away this one? Leave some cartoons for the bigger kids. You are resorting us to watching only shows for children. Yes, we are kids too, but as an older kid, I love this show and its the only one that is geared for everyone. Dora the Explorer does not cut it for me. Give us a break and stop canceling the good stuff.

Nick has done some pretty stupid things over the years. The worst was when they took Invader Zim of the air, cause the creator wouldn't sign an exclusiveness deal. Please don't make the same mistake and have reruned episodes run at midnight on Nicktoons Network.

I support this petition for I really enjoy watching this show. It's one of my top favorite cartoons right now. I would hate to see it get cancelled. I think the plots are great for each episode, how Danny's powers progress over time, new villians introduced, and character development as well. Butch Hartman did a great job with this series. Love it more than his "The Fairly Oddparents". The whole ghosts, semi-goth, and cool powers and quirks is what makes this show great! Please don't take that away from us. It's hard to find good cartoons on these days. It's one of the few that I watch on Nickoledeon. Also, another thing, the voice actors on this show are excellent. Esp. Tara Strong. Loved her in other toons such as "Batman TAS". Anyways, please whatever you do, don't cancell this show! *I'll try to get the word out about this petition. I'm an adult in my 30s who frequently watches this show with the kids. Even though I enjoy such dramatic primetime adult fare as "24", "Medium", "House", etc., I generally prefer cartoons -- especially Butch Hartman's creations -- over the majority of sitcoms currently on big-network TV.
Ghostbusting superhero Danny Phantom and his alter-ego, the geeky, unpopular teen Danny Fenton, is immediately likeable and endearing. I also feel his best pal Sam's character is particularly well-written, and as a fellow vegetarian, free-thinker and someone who is also fascinated by the paranormal, I often find myself cheering her on.
I have always loved cartoons, something I will never outgrow, and "DP" is one of the newest toons to capture my interest.
Fifty-three episodes are just NOT ENOUGH of this highly entertaining animated series. There is a lot of utter dross out there for kids on TV; we need MORE smartly-written and quality-animated shows like DP, not fewer!
Nick execs, please return to your senses and put Danny & Co. back on the programming roster, toute d’suite! Thank you!

You should know that not only little 7-year-olds watch the show (though, I know some that do, but that's not the point). Older kids, pre-teens, teens, and adults alike watch the show as well. *nods* It's true.
I really hope that this doesn't get cancelled. After Reign Storm, we've had superb animation, voice acting, character development, and episode plots. If it continues, it may become a fantastic show worthy of the "Best Animated Series" Annie Award.
