i cant believe thier cancelling Danny Phantom! it should go on! ALOT of people LOVE the show! i even looked at the petitions saying TO cancel DP, and only a few signatures are for canceling him! ever since the first episode Danny has become an actual part of me and my life. every time i watch an episode or even just start drawing a pic. of him i actually feel happier. i know thats sounds really corny and weird...and a bit like im crazy, but its true! The only reason I watch this show is because my fiancee and I are HUGE fans of Sam Manson (but we don't think Danny is a good match for her). Sam is a great role model to people who are harassed by mainstream society for being different. (Are we the only Sam fans out there who oppose Sam and Danny falling in love?) The number of times Danny mistreats his best friends angers me, honestly, but I do want to keep the show alive for Sam!

Seeing as it's Senioritus week, and over half of the Seniors that dressed up for Cartoon day dressed up as DP characters, I'd say that Nick would be losing some ratings if they cancel the show. After all, it is the ONLY show that they offer that older kids watch, as everything else is depressingly unrealistic to teenage life. DP, even being completely fantasy, shows some of the more realistic troubles of teenage life, such as balancing a 'job' with school and homework. If that isn't a good reason to keep it on air, than I hope Nick is ready for the ratings to hit bottom, because it is one of the top shows, right next to Jimmy Neutron and SpongeBob.

Danny Phantom is a wonderful show, with a large fanbase. Danny has many female followers which I'm sure would be delighted with some Danny Phantom toys ;) If you must cancel, finish it up. Tell us what happens to Danny, what happens with the Danny/Sam things, does he tell his parents? Don't leave us insane fans on the edge of our seats!
Besides, anybody of any age can watch this show, while some nickeledeon shows are in either the childish, annoying or just plain bizarre category.
Danny Phantom is an amusing show, with a vast fanbase. Ratings will surely plummet, as many teens watch nickelodeon purely for Danny Phantom.
As I said, at least finish up the show with a nice round ending. You know, one that answers all the long-goings questions in the show. Perhaps with an hour long special episode, you can sum up everything, including what happens to Danny, Sam and Tucker in their adulthood.
I do believe many of the people that have signed this are being impolite and a tad rude, but I agree. I really only watch Nick because of Danny Phantom. I may watch another show when I'm bored, but it's usually Danny or the Science Channel. (Yes, I'm a tad on the nerdy side.) I know it's not the MOST popular show on Nick, but it's up there! I don't see the point in taking it off the air. It has so much potential that I can't help but write fanfiction and draw pictures for it! I would like to close by saying that DP was the greatest show to ever appear on the television screen, and it would be a shame to lose it.
