The one decent thing on radio these days and it's lost in favour of a pitiful band of breakfasteers. Either bring the Cage back to Sydney or renew Get This's contract for another twelve months. For shame.
I cannot believe the treatment MMM has given Get This... first they change the show to the crappy time of 2-4pm and then they give one of the higher rating podcast shows the ass... maybe if they gave wil and lehmo the ass and put Get This in that time they might actually get more listeners!!!
Forget the scallop industry, the thugs in the radio industry (the ones with the ponytails, crocodile skin shoes, and bluetooth headsets) need a boot up the arse.What are the Get This fans supposed to do now? Where will we get our Stefanovic updates from? The only reason I came back to the mmm's was because of Get This, Triple M really need to clean out their management instead of axing shows like the cage and get this, I was gutted to hear the news!!
The only reason I listen to MMM is Get This. NOT the embarrisingly bad music or the highly promoted, and lowly listened, breakfast and drive shows. Listen to your few remaining listeners MMM.
Get This is an integral part of a lot of people's day, and to ax it now, when its ratings (including Tas and Reg) are fantastic, is perplexing to say the least. This will result in a mass exodus from the station, and once their ratings figures hit a year from now with no Get This on the airwaves, they will realise that axing decent shows does hurt your ratings, funnily enough.
How could MMM cancel Get this. It is the best show ever. Clearly they are trying to make a statement about Tony's reluctance to become an irritating puppet. Save Get This. Comon MMM. What are you doing!!
If Triple M go through with this they only prove that they were merely lucky enough to stumble upon this great show while on the lookout for more bananas - such as Will and Lemo (terrible)
'Get This' is the ONLY reason to listen to Triple M let alone any commercial radio. I find it absolutely ridiculous that a show with such a great following would get the arse when other hacks like Wil and Lemo get to stay in their cushy spots!!
This is a farce. A radio show must be quirky, entertaining and off beat. Get This is the diamond in the rough of the current climate. If jack-offs like loud-mouthed retard Kyle Sandilands can remain on radio, the genuine humour of Get This must be protected.
