Hello, I work for the Austereo Network. The reason that Get This is getting cancelled is because it is becoming too popular. Simply too many people are listening to it. We cant have that now for Triple M can we? An intelligent, witty, border-line genius radio show starring extremely talented people?? No thankyou!!! Will and Lehmo are great because you dont have to think about the jokes...because well they dont exist. A simplistic group of spastics - thats the audience we are after. Farewell.
I am still completely bemused by this decision. Someone lower down made a good point. Surely there are other stations that would take them on and give them the run of the joint. They would instantly gain thousands of new listeners to the program. Marland works at the JJJs, and they would definitely be more lenient. Alternatively, another good point from below was them going 'net only' which if everyone paid $5 a month or something for, would keep them in Brown Corduroy surely.

How can anyone compare Peter Smellier and Muff Warhurst to Tony, Richard and Ed? I know that people love frigging Hamish and Andy - but that show just does not do it for me. Get This was the only radio show i listen to - i was/am very dedicated to it. I am honestly going to tell everyone i have ever met to boycott the austereo network. On a more positive note id like to thank the guys for two years of pure comedic genius. Thank god your here.

Get This is by far and away the only reason I listen to radio.I hope they find a home on a more appreciating network, or cook up some crazy net based shenanigans (which I'd gladly pay for).
