This is both shambolic AND debacular! Triple M will be in shatters without Get This! I want to know what onlookers, industry insiders and fellow diners have to say about it! Tony, Ed and Rich: If you're reading this, you can tell any other radio station that is considering picking you up that you've got at least 1687 loyal followers that'll tune in to your show whatever station it's on, whenever it's on and even buy whatever products you endorse to keep you on! I eat Dick Smith's Bush Breakfast for chrissake!
Get this is a really terrific swhow the only comedy show I listen too on radio without there podcasts my trips to work will be horrible. Pack in more ads if you need to but please don't take away get this.

In addition to the moronic programming changes this year, I now find out that Get This, one of the most podcast and popular shows on radio nationally, is being axed. I am having flashbacks to Triple M of the 90s and some other stellar decisions from management. Tony Martin is a genius and Get This is a great show.
Do Triple M management listen to their own shows? If they did, surely, they would see Get This for the genius it is. Rage against the machine, guys. Make this blunder of a decision hurt the networks ratings and the products it plugs. The network, after all, has hurt its listeners.

Why axe a clear ratings winner with a loyal audience? The numbers show that with every timeslot change, the listeners follow - now which radio station could not use a program like that? Oh, MMM! Their management meetings must be so shambolic that they make 'Donkey Courtroom' sound plausible!
I just checked and it seems that you can send message to just about any show...except Get THIS. Writings on the wall. Triple M and it's football culture. It's almost an embarrasment when you consider how popular movies are for example, yet, the public are force fed AFL 'culture'.Absolute joke. Get this is what we want!
From what I'm reading here, they're binning this show for pete hellier? That figures; the whole football/lehmo bs. Who you know right? Fcuk pete helliar and lame-o and any of the bogans that push football. Like I care about what enterprise rich men try their hands at. Let alone what their 'stock' has to say and do. Get This is a fantastic show and one of the few worth listening to on radio let alone Triple M. The head honchos (read: fart sniffing pony tailed pseudo intellectual yuppies) at the station need to pull their heads out and listen to the people that actually matter i.e. the people that listen to their network and Get This. Cancelling Get This will be the single biggest mistake amongst the plethora of mistakes your station has made e.g. airing Nickelback and all other softcock rock atrocities/crimes against humanity.
This is insane. How does Triple M justify axing pretty much the only program they have going for them? If this gets axed then there's no reason for me to tune into Triple M anymore. Come on, you bastards! You CANNOT AFFORD to let this show die!
So, MMM say they're dumping Get This because they want to focus on their morning show. So why would they cancel a show from 2.00-4.00 that has no affect on the morning show? And you know, it also makes sense considering Get This is MMM highest rating program.... Smart people those MMM big wigs!!!
Get This is the only radio show that can analyse politics in Australia in a humourous way. There isn't anybody else in Australia that can do impresions, accents, sketch radio comedy and insightful interviews like Tony Martin. I only listen to Triple M ten hours a week!
Screw you Triple M. No wonder you are losing listeners when you make brainless moves like this. Get This is one of your highest rating shows, so why the hell would you get rid of it? Get This is funny, clever and is one of the few shows I listen to religiously. Well, you dump Get This, you dump me as a listener! Cancel Get This? You let John, Jane and Cosi painfully try to be funny (but instead just coming across as old, out-of-touch and creepy) in the morning... Yet you're firing Tony Martin, Ed Kavalee and 'The Actor' Richard Marsland, the greatest thing to happen to radio since Toto!
Get This is the most enjoyable radio program, much better quality than all the other rubbish out there. Triple M, I ask you to reconsider and resign this excellent show.
Like many others here Get This is the only thing both keeping me employed and preventing me from going balistic and setting fire to the people I work with. And when will I ever have another chance to make a cape for my cats again :(
