Hi folks. Im Les Nestor, respected Lawn Bowls commentator. You may remember my scenes in Crackerjack, where I announced Malloys character, to the audiences shock, the winner. John Clarke, as I recall, wasnt happy about that. Anyway, Ive been urging young and old, at Lawn Bowls venues throughout the country, to get behind Get This. I tell the elderly listeners, in fact, not to fear. Because I cant stand seeing a defeated-looking 90-year-old. Dont make me a lier, Triple M. I have an old-folks-friendly image to upkeep.
If MMM lose get this, they will be losing thousands and thousands of 'loyal' listeners that they already can't afford to lose. Who are the Jass family going to write to now!!
This is a great show.. creative and different. I heard that one of the concerns was that people were only tuning into the station to listen to this one show for two hours and then turning off. Isn't that two more hours these people are listening than they would be otherwise?
Wow, can't believe they didn't let this get it's fair run. Used to it with TV series of late (U.S. and domestic) but to see that carry to radio is a shame. Thanks for everything Get This. Here's my support for a return.
