Very well said Rooty. I would've been all for mmm if they'd had the good sense to keep the show. I mean, yeah, they try and repackage/market spoonman, and axe get this. Tells me all I need to know about their direction. The thing is, Tony will always be funny, but triple m will never have talent like that again. By the time they finnish paying for their lack of vision, they might be lucky to keep paying for their licence. People sure as hell won't be listening and there's only so long you can be in bed with the stats/auditing people to make up your ratings. Hopeless triple M
OK. I was all for Get This not to be axed by Triple M. Then tonight i read allllll the articles about the 'axing' and the comments by some of biggest tools ever to work in radio - Guy Dobson, Michael Anderson. And now im almost glad. Triple M dont deserve Get This. Triple M needs to die a horbbile horibble death. When they play music they rank what 6th? 7th? even 9th in some states... But they choose to axe Get This because they need more music and less chat? Or is it to focus on Hellier and Myfs new show? The story keeps chaning. All i know is this. Hellier was funny about 5 years ago. PeteSpace is a clear example of how much he sucks these days. And as for more music? I live in Sydney, and each night as i flick around i cant help but notice very little music and a F*UCKING lot of dribble comming out of the mouth of the most unfunny and arogant person on radio. Spoonman and his lame teenager sounding side kick Garfield whos only job seems to be to suck on the end of spoonmans... you get where im going with this. Less chat more music. Oh, expect for when we have to tortue Australia with Will Anderson, Spoonman and soon Hellier. You suck Guy Dobson, Michael Anderson and Tripple M in general. You dont deserve a show as good as Get This. So now im glad they are going. It will hopefully spell the end for a dying dinasour of a station. It's a sad state for Australian radio when both Tony Martin and Mick Molloy aren't required in Triple M's vision of strengthening its talk show lineup. And I would assume Triple M management can find a spare hour or two for Ed to electrocute himself, can't they? Or maybe just Ed and Richard just performing live sketches, the South African one being the best thus far. Get your act together Triple M!

I can't believe Triple M axed the best ever show on radio. Before 'Get this' I had never felt the need to download podcasts. After 'Get this' I don't think I will be downloading any more!
I liked Paul Murray, but after seeing the 'guest appearance' by Spoonman, I can see which way MMM are heading. Piss weak managment where they try and re-market an arsehole like him. No wonder they canned Get This. It's inline with their new agenda. What a pathetic shadow of it's former self mmm is. Vale Get This. Thanks for all those hours of just entertaining radio. I haven't laughed so hard to a radio program since club veg back in the day. Get this is the only half decedent program MMM has at the moment, because we all know the music is lacking. Shame on you MM management shame.

the only time i listen to triple m is during the get this show. if another radio station picks you up all your loyal fans will change stations and take the ratings with it. this is the funniest radio show around and to lose it all together would be tragic
Can I just start by saying that I don't usually support my counterparts,but on this occation i'll make an acception!. I don't beleive Tony was responsible for, on this occation, acertian C word that was dropped on air recently, to which I believe Tony has given yet another apology for, and I believe was accepted by most. On another matter that I confess to a bit of, if you like, Me-tooism!, I alsoagree with Tony's side of the House on extending the Heritage protection Laws that go beyond aboriganal rock art,to include modern day cultural art forms from a range of mediums that, could be said are the building blocks to the Australian way of life, but in particular to our great, laid back sense of humour,to which we areknown for worldwide!. I think most Australians would agree that to discard culturally important things such as literature, film, tv and radio programs ect... that have been woven into the fabric of our flag would do much toundermine our sense of identity and a fair-go for all, so that is why I give my support to saving Get This, andwill be prepard to vote to Legestrate! to protect this fine peace of our culture, I only have two thumbs, and both are upfor Get this!
