NOOOOOOOOOOO! triple M without 'get this' is like sonny without cher! or even hall without oates! lets hope common sense will prevail and triple m will keep one of their highest if not, the highest rating show they have got! lets face it, it aint will and lehmo.
It's pretty clear that Kevin Rudd is behind this. I mean, how do we know he wasn't? Lunching with Brian Burke, Tony Mockbel and Josef Stalin, plotting the burning of orphanages, stealing pension cheques from poor defenceless old people and how to bring down Get This. I mean do we know for certain Rudd doesn't work for MMM Sydney?
I am a proud Get Thisian and I also caught Ricky M's breakfast show on Channel 31 this morning. He made a rather fruity 'silicone valley' joke... but I love him anyway. Richard, marry me! xxxxx

For crying out loud, Get This is the only show that aknowledges Pete Smith, or even mentioned the passing of Lucky Grills. Kinda says a lot about the quality of the show and the piss poor efforts around them.

My 4GB iPod is going to get a lot of room next year. I only download 2 lots of podcasts, Get This and The Cage Melbourne. With both of these shows getting the arse, I will have no reason to go to the Triple M website or tune into it. It was bad enough they replaced the Cage with the Shebang (not my favourite show, sorry). I think tis spells the end of Triple M. It will truly go down the Poop Chute

Now look...... the people of Australia...... need to know ...... about the plight.... of Get This. …...Tony and the boys..... are a staple..... of the diet.... of a good Australian breakfast. …… Now you can’t have a breakfast….. without all the items of the….. breakfast. …..Get This is part of the breakfast…… They sit alongside.... other important foods like..... toast...... and eggs..... maybe eggs with hollandaise sauce... and bacon..... mountains of bacon..... cooked until it's crispy.... ohhhh yeah.......... bacon....... I really like bacon...... does anyone have some bacon?......... Surely someone here must have some bacon...... Does Tony have some bacon?.....
I leave work at 2 and listen to the first hour in the car on my way home.
I stream the second hour, but it can interfeer with my dirty movie watching time which has to be before my wife gets home, so sometimes i miss bits of the second half, but catch up on podcast.
I would sacrafice never to be at one with myself ever again if they kept the show on air.
This is a national disgrace (the decision not the show) p.s im still collecting my dogs poo to send to the station manager (wanker)
at least these guys do some preparation and dont just say 'call up if you've ever found something in your hamburger' all other radio shows are lame by comparison
nooooooooooooo!!!i love Get This! their random trivia and ramblings delight the most discerning of ears (mine, of course), and are the only thing that cheers me up after a hard morning of teaching. listening to other DJs makes me want to stab myself and/or others in the face!
Bah! There's a conspiracy afoot between businessmen and the thugs from the scallop industry to stop me listening to the radio! First they started playing Nickelback and gave Kyle Sandilands his own show, then they canceled Get This!I'll shed a tear when that vengebus heads off to Ibeitha for the last time.
To say that MMM decision to axe this show nonsensical, is a gross understatement. I enjoyed their quirky humour and off the beaten track banter. Shame.
