Why is Triple M axing a show that gives them ratings? When the show is on, ratings increase, when show not on, and the 'better music variety' is there, then ratings decrease. Morons.
The axing of Get This is the most offensive act since the first act of Shortbus. Shame, Austereo for cancelling the ONLY decent show on Australian radio.

As a keen nova listener since its inception. Get this converted me into a Triple M regular. Now triple M is axing Get this. Thats a bit gay. Im gonna go back to Nova now. Give Tony, Ed and Armitage Shanks a set of golden microphones or better yet, keep their show goin.
Radio executives once again prove gutless and unimaginative. Triple M gives the finger at men like me in their 30s and once again I depart the wasteland that is FM radion.

If it is to do with funding, why not axe will and lehmo and have get this run from 2-5, problem solved! Getting rid of Get This will take a huge audience away and i'm pretty sure most of those people will be telling their friends to change stations too. Bad decision Triple M.

Tripple M cant be serious! How can they axe the greatest show on radio(possibly ever)? Get This is only about a million times better than the Shebang and Will and Lehmo combined. I can say with 100% certainty that if Get This does not stay then either will I. Tripple M management clearly need a kick straight to the plums!

Pull your head in, Triple M managment. I'm not a complete expert at radio (yet) but I know when a shows giving you your highest ratings (11 percent...I do my research) you don't bloody axe it. You'd better prey that getting peter helliar and myf on board for breakfast had better pay off...or someones gonna have their head served to them.
To MMM management. I am the ultimate consumer. I have the income, and I like to spend it. I hope that all of your advertisers see this because after the last ep of Get This I will be removing MMM from my car radio, which I am in every day. Forget the numbers of Tas and Reg, I spend and I will no longer be listening to your ads. Guy's, it's OK to make mistakes. Being big enough to admit that you make them is far harder. Be brave, listen to the 1000 people who have replied in this forum in two days and do something positive to show people like me that we mean something. The immediate future is in your hands. Ridiculous decision! I guess I won't have to bother tuning in to MMM ever again! Lets hope the boys keep it going as a independent podcast next year, to rival Ricky Gervais' world record!
get this is about the smartest thing on radio at the moment, i refuse to believe that triple m has so little faith in the intelligence of its listnership as to keep 'wil and lehmo' which appeals only to the mildly retarded and yet axe 'get this' which is the last bastion of terrific in-jokes and fantastic cameo guests.
