Comic book movies have been suffering from bad casting since Dolph Lundgren first played Punisher (what were they thinking). Anyone seen the original FF movie? Holy geez! Anyway, please, for the love of all that is magical and right with something so pure and fantastic as JL, please, make the right calls! Please.
WB, making this JL movie can be the biggest franchise you guys might have on your hands, dont ruin it by having al of these young actors in the roles actors who dont even look the part. And you guy need Tom Welling in roder for this film to really succeed, by the time this movie comes out Smallville would have endedd it run, so you dont have to worry about the confusion it might create for ppl, and keep Brando Routh in his franchise is cool, i like him one of the few but i like him. Welling is going to be whats going to make this film, his face is what wil sell it to the general audience, the other heroes aside from Bats have never come out so it doesnt matter as much as long as its good casting, and then you have Bats, who were a mask the entire film and some wont notice him. This movie has the will to succeed but it seems like you guys are trying to kill it before it happens. and one more thing ddont giver everyone big rubber suits, try and stick to as much Superman Returns looking spandex as possible including Bats alot of us want to see him in the black and grey. and Wonder Woman try and giver some Battly skirt with boots and not high heels and a Bikini bottom. Dont mess this up before it happens guys, this is better and could be made better than X-men.

Sophia Bush should play Wonder Woman in my opinion... y'know, because she's smoking hot. batman and superman I'm just hoping a good choice is made because if its not bale or routh, i dunno who it should be. I'm not sure if they should make the first JL movie with a black green lantern but I think Jamie Foxx or Taye Diggs would be good ones. as far as martian man hunter goes, he could be just like silver surfer for all i care, have one man play him and the other do the voice. i could care less if aquaman is in the movie at all cause in my opinion he's the worst superhero of all, but if he must be in it then paul walker should do the job. and I hate to say it but i think chad michael murray would be an alright green arrow. dunno how wonder woman would feel about that one though.
I believe in casting the current stars of other DC Comics Warner Bros. franchises. In other words, keep Batman cast as Christian Bale, keep Superman as Brandon Routh, etc. They are your best bet in a successful Justice League film.
I think that Bale should be Batman.Ruth should be play Superman, the Green Latern should be play by Tyress or Will Smith, Wonder Women I think should be play by that chick from Bionic Women or homegirl from Bones. The Flash could be Ryan Roynolds or guy who play Stiffler from american pie. Aquaman could be played by someone new or Paul Walker and the Martain Man hunter could be CG or makeup from the guy who play Sliver Surfer.
LONG-TIME Justice League fan. Many of the names mentioned as auditionees have NO BUSINESS playing any of the se characters. TOO YOUNG AND HIP! C'mon guys. Make a REAL, KICK-ASS JLA film that everyone will love.
I have been watching comic book movies, tvs shows, cartoons, and reading them as well since i was a kid, please don't ruin one of the greatest with a terrible cast and a shitty script.
Certainly the names of the actors who have been called to casting for the role of the justice League, are very very bad, they are too young for the characters. If this really is the final casting, I refuses to see this film.Is clear that the best ...ever batman / bruce wayne is christian bale, I liked brandon routh as superman, what I dont like was the script of superman returns ( superman have a son? wtf!).We do something to save this film that beginning in wrong direction. I was hoping for Routh and Bale, but I can live without them. However, I feel it will be a major letdown to have actors barely out of high school. I feel that the range should be 25-35.
For the love of God, wait until Christopher Nolan's Batman and Bryan Singer's Superman series are finished before you make the JLA movie. And don't cast a bunch of teeny boppers. Try your best to cast Brandon Routh as Superman and Christian Bale as Batman. Then have Christopher Nolan, Bryan Singer and George Miller write the script together.
This is way too big a movie to screw up. They will not get the box office results they want unless they comply with us comic nerds on the internet. They want the revenue and all we ask for is a good cast with excellent writing and decent direction.

honestly, i feel we should wait until wwe have at least gone through nolans bat films, and maybe wait until the big three have all had at least one solo film, preferably a superman sequel and a wonder woman solo. then, do the first, where the league comes together. no batman at this point. in the second, bring batman in.
The characters are in their 30's, cast properly. Do not cast the Teen Titans. If that is what you want, than make a Teen Titans movie and not Justice League of America.

I believe that the timing of this movie is not right, but if they have to make it, i think they are in the wrong direction. They need the heroes to be established and not all origins and young. This casting news makes me want to puke.
The JLA are supposed to be comprised of heroes who are heroes because they've been off of their tricycle for more than 2 years and have uhh..oh hell, they MUST be believable adults not some kid actor who can't even drink yet!!
Current casting plans are promising this movie to be a total flop. Movie-goers will be heading into theaters with an already biased opinion that the movie will suck and therefore will not enjoy the movie. A movie on this scale deserves the budget and a cast that fans are expecting. That means good actors who are appropriate for the role no matter if they are known or not. Using a pop cast to draw the MTV crowd just calls for disaster. I.e. I think a more mature cast is needed.
Brandon Routh or Tom Welling as Superman. Casting anybody else as Superman would be a slap in the face to these two fine actors who have worked so hard to maintain the integrity of this iconic American character. An integrity with a strong foundation built by two other fine actors: George Reeves and Christopher Reeve. Casting anyone but Routh or Welling as Superman would make the character seem lame, generic and irrelevant like Dracula or James Bond. Please let our generation keep our Supermen. Also, Christian Bale as Batman because he's the best EVER! As for the rest of the cast, just don't make the same mistake that they made with League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. All those no name hacks made the movie really weak.
Why can't WB understand the term consistency? You don't make a movie that uses multiple super heroes that have already been casted then hire all new ones to play them. Also this isn't a CW special this is a comic book movie, stop hiring these stupid young actors to appeal to a younger audience and just focus on making a kick ass movie with people that are made for the roles. I totally agree with this petition I want to see people who are believable in the characters on screen hence the need for Christian Bale and Tom Welling as Bataman and Superman in the JLA if it's a youth cast which from what all the rumours coming may what the makers are heading towards then they may aswell make a cartoon movie instead of a real on screen movie. Come on Warner Brothers/DC Comics make a realy good movie to rival Marvel. I think they should keep the characters how they are in the cartoon as far as the flash and green lantern go, the cast should be mature and respected enough to make this a great movie with actors like, brandon routh, ryan reynolds, christian bale, tyrese gibson,and so on, and I would put hawkgirl instead of aquaman.
the people in hollywood need to realize that these characters mean a lot to us, so please make the right movie for the fans, not just one to make the quick cash.

The rumours that spread about this film, most probably true seem to show that the movie is moving toward a youth laden cast dealing with adolescent phobias that are made redundant by superpowers. We have already seen Sky High, so make something great!
You only get one shot at LAUNCHING this franchise. It is worth taking time to get it right. Make the sure the Justice League has MATURE ADULT super-hero roll models.
The League should be comprised of Adults (30 somethings) to play the following roles. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, the Flash (Barry Allen), the Green Lantern (John or Hal), and Aqua Man, although Aqua Man should only help with things concerning the ocean, and Batman should be more concerned with Gotham.
its going to be hard to get a great cast together, seeing as the budget most likely won't support it. but at least make sure superman, batman and ww are good
