I know you think it's going to be profitable to employ younger actors so you can make more movies before they all get too old, but this is a sacred property to too many people. You can't put the responsiblitity of making the JLA to a bunch of cutesy scrubs.
Yes, I agree with all who state that the cast should consist of late 20/early 30 year olds. I would like to see if Marvel\'s formula for the Avengers will work (introducing individual members of the team prior to creating the avengers movie). Batman\'s introduced. Superman\'s done. Wonderwoman is on her way. After that, the remaining JL members can be introduced in the JL movie.
i agree, 100 %, DC should take a note about of marvels book and only use actors that have already established the characters, for there big superhero team up
The Justice League series was one of the best animated shows that I have watched. The characters are who they are and should not be changed into something they are not and never should be. Do not break the mold is the best option. They work well with each other, and that is what fans like myself expect to see in the movie, not some 90210 want to be’s. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, Flash, and The Martian Manhunter are the Justice League.
Superman worked because Chris Reeves larger than life and carried the perfect characteristics of Superman. The first two Batmans and Batman Begins all worked because he was portrayed as a dark character by the actors. Do NOT confuse fan appreciation of other tv shows with our consent to cast former teen drama stars as the role models for future generations.I have two little boys, and I will show them the first four Superman movies, the first two Batman movies, and the older Star Wars movies, before the Lucasizing-for-profits venture. There's a reason why the movies are considered classics--because, in any day and age, nothing has come by that you could compare it to. Bruce Lee will still kick Jet Li's ass, any day of the week.Give us class, not just pretty pictures.
I have waited too long for a JLA movie to let hollywood mess it up, by screwing up the casting of this one film you could start the downward spiral of all comic book movies into a popteen hell that would take any bit of credibility that the genre has gained.
Please don't screw this up with a bad cast. This could be such a great movie. I know it would make millions at the box office if the right people are cast for the spots.
i really want this movie to happen with the new superman they came out a while ago and new the batman coming out soon this movie would be so good. it could open possibilitys to them making a flash or green lantern movie so come on and make it
As a comicbook fan and a lover of the justice league animated series...of course i would love to see a justice league movie. Bale as Batman is key because he knows his part...Routh could be a good superman, but Welling is also a key player for the role. To be honest i really dont think a justice league movie can be made at this point in time for the simple fact that the characters involved are far to complex to just throw into a movie together without at least having one movie behind their belts. Although i would love to see a justice league movie in the near future i am still afraid that they would have alot of problems fulfilling the needs of comicbook fans...because we all know that a good comicbook movie is a rare jem...and there is no way that i would be able to live with a bad justice league movie. That is just my opinion, but im sure the crazed comic fans like myself agree that this movie just cant happen overnight.
tom welling would be a good choice for supes. and he isn't too young: he's 30. Bale as Batman would be great. I don't understand why someone would turn it down. That's at least 3 movies as batman. that makes you remembered. And Adam Brody has been casted as The Flash. And he's wally west. The film starts with Barry Allen's funeral.

Christian Bale already said no. But I don't care about the A-list actors as long as they look and can play the damn part. And it's going to be motion capture so it's not going to really matter. I just worry if it's going to be good or not.

Please be considerate of the Original creators of these comic book heroes. They are/were artist that have blessed the world with their imagination. Stay TRUE to their work. PLEASE NO RAPPER/ACTOR WANNABEES!!! Common is not an actor! Make a LIVE comic book adaptation. Don't screw it up!
I think there should be a lot of time and consideration put into this film. It would be great to get Bale and Routh for the film. It will make it so much better because people would of just recently seen them in their superhero movies. This is an extremely important show, comic etc, and it needs to be done right.
Please don't cast a JLA movie with such a large proportion of unknowns/b-grade talent.Tempting though it is to save money in this manner, you need to find higher investment to produce returns and to get support from the comic fan movie watching public.
2 words....Tom Welling! At the very least Brandon Routh. No one else. If you cant cast these two then dont attempt to make the movie! All of the Smallville actors that played members of the JLA where great use them. The new Batman guy is perfect as well. The people you have that are rumored thus far for the movie are duds. I agree with what another person wrote on here as in the fact that PG-13 should be out! You wont have many teenagers going to see it but trust me for the adults who have jobs that love the movie (if it's good) will go to see it more times than any teenager.
firstly superman either needs to be a villain or have his powers reduced to those that the character started with. secondly you better have a guest spot by specter and no aquaman. to make this movie amazing you need to play up martian manhunter , green lantern and batman. and the film needs to be dark and epic. im tired of pg-13 comic movies the fans have grown up so should the movies.
