Do you have a mice problem? O.K- Simple answer. Get a cat, poisoning, mouse trap, whatever. They're gone. Right? BUT IT'S WRONG.
How would you feel if you were a mouse? Sure, you wouldn't be as smart as you are now, but mice are clever for animals! So youre a mouse and youve gotten into someones home. Your really hungry cuz there are no plants here. So you see- CHEESE! You rush over to get the cheese. Your so hungry you can already chase it... But then...
Snap. Dead.
Or you smell something. You eat it. But a few hours later, you start hurting all over. You feel like you'll explode. You don't understand why this is happening, and another hour later? You die in the utmost pain.
Or you see this huge creature that's about to swat at you. And you still die in PAIN!
I believe that since animals are living creatures they should be treated as such! They are not evil! They haven't done anything except get into your house by accident or for food or for a home! Mice don't HAVE homeless shelters, so what are they gonna do?
I say we BUILD A BETTER MOUSETRAP! One that's SAFE for mice. Even though there ARE safer mice traps out there, people rarely buy them and just get poison or the traditional trap. I say they STOP manufacturing poisions and traditional traps and replace them with the safer models that simply close the mouse in so the owner of the model can release them in a field or forest!
Remember, they are just as alive as you!
