Stephenie, i can understand how hurt and upset u must be 4 someone you trusted enough to let read a draft you wrote then betrayed u, but pleaase please please reconcider writing midnight sun and i also ask u not to give up on the twilight series as a whole because i got the impression that u wont be writing more of the twilight series books after BREAKING DAWN and i beleive this is, also, a mistake i myself am a young writer in the making and u are my inspration plz dont give this up please. that is all i ask, u shouldnt give up and punish us all fro a mistake of a misstrust. im not trying to make you feel bad (much) lol. While I understand your sadness at seeing the Midnight Sun chapters leaked, I sincerely hope you someday continue Edward's side of a story that has captivated us all. For the sake of your fans, please find your way back to this project when you are ready. It would be a shame for us all to pay for a crime we didn't commit.

remorse and disgust is what i imagine you are feeling, and i dont blame you steph! but if you can find it in your heart to finish that great piece of writing [i can just imagine from what you have wrote previously] then i imagine that this book will be so much more well respected and accepted by the public. everyone will know what you went through to continue on with the book, and even if it takes you 5 years, none of your fans would care, but you should tell us if you decide to "someday" continue, because then people would stop hassling you and just let you do your thing haha

I support this petition, writers have rights...they should not be fooled with. As a writer myself I am outraged at the inability to show respect to others ideas and person. I hope that Mrs. Meyers understands that above all we respect her decisions and want only to have her universe happy again.
As a writer, I know how hard it is to let your characters go without finishing their stories. I just hope that Mrs. Meyers finds peace with Midnight Sun, finishing it for herself and sharing it with the public if she likes. Writing first and for most if for the author's enjoyment, when we (author's) loose that; there isn't much to write for in the end.

No body is going to hate your book just because one little chapter got sliped out. Please, don't blame yourself or anyone around you for this little mishap.
