Save the Point Pleasant Borough Recreation Commission

We, the undersigned, as concerned citizens of the Borough of Point Pleasant and State of New Jersey, call upon Councilmembers Roger Pyrtko, William Dikun, Brian McAlindin, John Kaklamanis, Shaun O’Rourke, Susan Rogers and Mayor Martin Konkus to oppose and vote against any ordinance altering, dismantling, disbanding, destroying or otherwise changing the composition of the Recreation Commission.

The rec commission, and all of the sports offered to the children of Point Pleasant, has been an important part of the town for many, many years. My husband and I coached and both of our children played. They are now 28 and 30! The programs are important to the children and young people.
