Unlike some people, I think the show has actually gotten better in the last two years. I love the Woolsey dynamic so far, and I think they could do great eps with a sixth season. No reason to watch SciFi at all once Atlantis is gone.

Atlantis is Sci Fi's only show with longevity. It's ratings have been higher than ever. I will no longer watch Eureka or Battlestar (the only surviving shows). I am not willing to give up a show we already know and love for another spin off. Regardless of any movies in the works.
I more then support this petition. NEVER have I liked a show like I do Atlantis, and have roped so many friends into watching it as well. With the strong ratings and huge fanbase the show needs to continue!
I support this petition. Atlantis is stronger than ever and getting better by the day. There is no reason to ax it like this, especially not without at least one last season to wrap things up properly. There are too few quality sci-fi shows as it is. Please don't take one of the greats from us.
It's SCIFI channel who should get this!! THEIR fault!! They broke it, now they gotta fix it or incur the wrath of the SGA fans!!! I got my phaser pistol set to "KILL" by the way...as in BOYCOTT SCIFI UNTIL THEY RESCIND THE ORDER TO CANCEL SGA.
Now we all appreciate the search for more money, but c'mon, you can have two series. We won't mind. No, not at all. We like the movies, but they're more like bonuses or "We're sorry we axed your show" cards. We want our episodic television.
I support this petition. I think MGM has made a huge mistake. The fandom for this show is enormous, and breaking it off like this, when the show's ratings have been increasing, is a slap in the face. Promising a movie is nothing better than a cheap ploy. Shame on you, MGM!
I support this petition. Don't cancel the only decent show on TV! Other than the NHL and F1 racing, Stargate Atlantis is the only show on TV I bother to make a point of watching. It's a family thing for us!

I support this petition. I think the cancellation is totally unfair to the fans, especially with the ratings SGA is pulling this season. You managed to pay for 2 Stargate series at the same time before, why cancel one pulling in the viewers for an untried thing?!
