SCIFI & MGM:
SGA is a great show, and most importantly for production and networks, you have a large fan base who really stick to their guns when it comes the SGA team. Even if things are moving a little slow, if season 5 is hump season, remember that you have the fan base to back up keeping it on the air. If it's a plotting problem - hire new writers. If it's a funding problem - ask the fans for help. Whatever it is, I'm sure there's a solution.
SGA is a continually solidly performing show with an established, dedicated fanbase and consistent critical acclaim. Why take a chance on a less certain new show and alienate longtime viewers?
I support this petition. Stargate already lost one show (SG1) and now Atlantis has to go too?! The series is a well needed releave amongst all the crime series these days. It would be a shame if a series with a fanbase of milions from all around the world had to stop.
I support this petition. Atlantis was the best thing about SciFi since Richard Dean Anderson left SG-1. Cancelling the best thing about a network is not the way to go.
