I've been watching SG-1 for a long time but I started watching SGA when it first came out at age 13. I'm 18 now and this is such a huge part of my life. It's the only quality show that is available for me to watch. Now there is nothing for me to enjoy anymore. Please, give it another chance. It certaintly won't disapoint.
This is the only show that I watch religiously and to top that I watch it with my daughter. It's the only show that we both love. Please don't take it away prematurely.
Stargate Atlantis has not yet had the time it deserves on the air! SG-1 got 10 seasons and SGA only has 5. SGA has the ablity to hold it's own in a tough timeslot on Scifi and is the only show that can for them. Its doing very well in ratings compared to other years and it would be a disapointment to get rid of it now. Give it another year or so before pulling it. Allow it to have a successful longer run and then go to Movies. Please, do not get rid of the only quality programming that is available to watch these days.
I was in shock when SG-1 was cancelled, due to the fact that it was dropped in mid story arc, with the potential to go on for at least two more seasons. SGA has the potential to keep going to at least season 10 and you guys aren't even letting SGA show this potential. Its really disappointing to see a show that has potential to just be dropped. If this is done so that SGU can be picked up, i really don't see how SGU will beat SG-1 and SGA.
Sci-Fi shows again its blatant disrespect for its viewers by just canceling a well watched and supported program. I hope the people in charge of the 3rd possible show Stargate:Universe put it on a different network. And Sci-Fi are a disgrace. I have watched both SG-1 and SGA and they have been a big part of my life. I will truly miss this show as I missed SG-1
I support this petition. Sci-Fi should cancel their garbage movies every weekend instead of quality shows with a strong fan base. Good job at reducing your ratings even further Sci-Fi...
I support this petition, because I love the series. Please, don't end it this way. There are so many secrets and opportunities which can be discovered in this series!
Seems like scifi is drifting away from the shows and stories that its veiwers tune in for. We want fantasy and scifi eg. Dresden files, Stargate Atlantis, Battlestar....not psuedo reality shows like ghost hunters and scare tactics....Go back to the basics of watch the ratings plummet.
I support this petition.because i cant beleive that you would finish this show with this being the only programe i would watch on sci fi channel i think your going to lose a lot of veiwers as i live in uk the sci fi channel over here isnt very good but it seems diffrent in the usa but u all know best dont you. you like to think u do
