I support this petition. This is a great show that is creative and fresh and to date has never failed to be very entertaining. Save SGA at least until we can transition into a new SG series.
I support this petition. PLEASE reconsider. This has to be one of the only shows I have ever cared about new episodes coming. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not cancel it !
I support this petition. Wow! First SG1. Now Atlantis? I'll be quite upset to have not one but two of my fave series cancelled. I would love to see Atlantis have at least one or two more seasons.
I have loved Stargate Atlantis since it's inception. I do believe that the writing and storylines are just as good as ever. I see no reason to cancel Atlantis, and support this petition to reinstate it's status.
There is so much more to do in the SGA world - I know movies are planned, but I think the regular TV format works extremely well for this show. I'm hoping you'll reconsider.
I love this show. The actors were signed for six years, give us six years. Don't just rush the ending so that you guys can have your pesky SG: Universe. We'll all come watch it, we promise. However, in rushing the ending of SGA, you are basically stating that you guys don't really have any concern for your fan base at all. Don't you think that we deserve better than a two-hour movie that will be much less than a sixth season?
SGA deserves better. We deserve better. Very similar, in fact to how Carson deserved better, Zalinka deserves better, all of the actors deserve to have their stories tied up, and we deserve to get a proper ending to a great series.
I just really don't understand you guys at all.
Although my appitite for Stargate Universe is high, I really don't want to see SGA get the boot so early into it's lifetime. There is an astounding amount more episodes worth of material out there yet. Cutting it so short won't tie things up properly at all.
I support this petition. How in the world can MGM cancel the show. It is just getting into its greatest swing. I guess I will no longer need to watch the Sci-Fi Channel as there is noting else worth watching. This is just a crazy, idiotic move. Of course they have a movie coming but it is just not the same as watching it every Friday and they will never capture the essence of the actual show. Someone needs to rethink this idea. I do find it funny that this is coming up just a short time after things are coming up about a new SG series, but that they can't do both at the same time.. Not a wise marketing solution.. Hope all this makes sense, I am rather irk'd at the moment.. When sending mail to the people in charge send a lemon as well..
I´m from Germany and a lot of my friends are Stargate-Fans. The decision of MGM to cancel SGA is the biggest mistake after dropping Paul MacGillion off the show!!!
I SUPPORT THE PETITION!!!!

StarGate Atlantis... that show is a huuuge part of my life... I've been watching SG since I was like 12... now I'm 19... and I'm not ready to say farewell yet... Let there be one more season, please!
Please don't cancel a show that is just coming into its prime.
This is a quality show with characters you can love and storylines that are fresh and fun. This show has a huge amount of untapped potential.
Stargate Atlantis was one of the things that got me through a very tough period. Five years ago, my son was diagnosed with cancer. It took a *lot* of little distractions and bright spots day by day to help me cope. Stargate Atlantis was one of those bright spots. It provided an hour of likeable fun to distract me once a week, along with a cast of sweet characters I've grown to really care about.
This out-of-the-blue decision to get rid of a show that's doing well feels hurtful on an almost personal level, because I've become very attached to SGA.
I hope you will please reconsider and let Atlantis remain on the air for a while to come.
