Why making a series if it's for cancelled her and replace by another and making a movie ???
Where is the marketing logic ?
I am completely gutted by this decision to axe what is probably regarded as one of the best, if not the best science fiction shows out there. The SciFi channel let us down with SG-1 and now they've pulled Atlantis, I hope people learn a valuable lesson here and boycott SciFi, both viewers and producers. R.I.P. SG-1 & Atlantis, you went too soon.
Je soutiens cette pétition. C'est débile de stopper SGA au bout du cinquième épisode de la cinquième saison. Comment ils peuvent dire que ça marche pas après si peux de temps ? en plus si ils le passent a une heure ou tout le monde dort...les producteurs c'est vraiment des débiles il faut le dire !

This show is the most original I have seen in years! If you cancel the one show on SciFi worth watching, there will be no point is having this channel at all.
I support this petition. After Scifi was dumb enough to cancel Stargate you guys get the not so bright idea to cancel Stargate Atlantis. Stargate and Atlantis were the only reason I was even watching the Scifi Channel and were the only MGM programs I liked other then Poltergeist The Legacy which XScificancelled in 1999. Cancel Atlantis thinking your going to make more by putting out dvd's and you'll find your company the victim of a boycott by the fans who are angry at being taken advantage of. Lots of fans watch the show and buy small things like the books but the DVD's go for $40 US a pop and not everybody has that kind of money. You'd be doing your viewers an grievous insult that MGM may never recover from.
