I support this petition. What about the loyal fanbase, just remember who supports the network. This has made me truly angry, you people just cancel programmes at the drop of a hat, with no care or regard of how many people actually adore the show. WE WANT SEASON 6, 7, 8, 9, ETC Ark of TRUTH AND CONTINUAM were awful.
I support this petition. Stargate Atlantis is brilliant, action, techno babble, humor. I find it crazy for a production company to end a show that is doing fantastically well and the characters are amazing. Five seasons is too short. How hard would it be to keep producing this series instead of SG:I. Your taking a massive risk why would you risk loosing viewers by canceling a show that is doing so well for a show that has no guarantee about its future. Please reconsider your decision.
Stargate Atlantis still has stories left to tell. Look at how Stargate SG-1 would have ended if it had ended after season 5 and how much the fans would have missed out on.

SGA is so, so awesome. Why cancel it? Is MGM that desperate for cash? This show is a rarity these days; good quality of writing, great acting, and, hey, PLOTS! I'm so sick of all the crap shows out there. This is ridiculous. SAVE THIS SHOW! C'mon, now, don't be jerks. TV's barely worth watching any more and you're taking away one of the reasons why I even bother. I love this show. It's brilliant. It's worth saving.

I support this petition. I just don't understand how this is happening. What has Scifi channel turned into? Now the only programming left is lame reality shows (e.g. Scare Tactics, Ghost Hunters) and wrestling--not SCIFI at all.
I support this petition. I've been a fan of the SG series for quite some time, and own just about all the DVDs. In my view the series is, or will be a money maker. You are doing yourselves and the fans a huge disservice.
