I most definitely support this petition!! Come on people, what is wrong with you guys?! Why are you canceling Atlantis for!? And don't tell me you guys are just trying out something new because you guys are making one the most saddest mistakes in tv series history.For crying out loud at least make it to season seven.
SCIFI DID NOT CANCEL ATLANTIS, MGM DID. I get the feeling, their cancellation of SG-1 due to lack of profit, then bringing them a lot of money with the sale of the DVDs are to blame. If you really want MGM to feel the pinch, don't go watch or buy MGM movies. I'm not. Their lack of judgment makes me wonder about the quality of future programming.
I support this petition. MGM and Scifi channel: I understand your viewpoint of saving money and freeing up a bit of time by only doing one series parallel to big movies. However, while the movies are more economically efficient, they are not what the fans came to love the Stargate franchise for. The fans love the character driven storylines and came to love how the characters reacted and developed every season. You simply cannot allow for much character development in a movie. To top that off, SGA has a lot of stuff it needs to resolve which will make a 2 hour movie of the tie-ups extremely shallow. Please, give SGA at least one more season. You owe it to the fans of the not just the series, but the entire franchise. You have heard of fan reactions to the things Fox does have you not? Don't be like Fox. You have an amazingly successful franchise that has at least one more great season left. Thanks.
La série peut pas s'arrętait elle est trop bien, j'ai jamais était aussi fan d'une série que celle-lŕ, j'trouve qu'elle est encore mieux que Stargate Sg1. C'est une série qui ŕ un grand potentiel, elle mérite plus que 5 saisons !
Męme q'il y a des téléfilms qui vont sortir, sa ne remplacera pas la série !
En plus c'est la seul série que je collectionne et je veux avoir plus de saison integrale que ça !!!
I support this petition. First Stargate SG-1 and now Atlantis. It's a great show. It can't go off the air so soon. You keep getting rid of shows that made the Sci-Fi Channel.
SGA is a very good show. It is the one thing that I look forward to watching on tv. Why would you take it off. I think some of the Changes were pretty dumb, Like the all girl team. I love the orginal team. And why not give Maj Loren a team instead of the dumb all girl team. I can see making some changes but to take it off now is really not a good ideal. What show will be left on scifi but reruns. I wish MGM would think there decision.
I support this petition. The actors are brillaint and all of Stargate is brilliant, they are making the second big mistake after the cancellation of SG1, we need Series 6
SG1 and now Atlantis what is this a joke? this is one of the few true SCI FI shows, there is a far wider audience then SCI FI channel, there already one nail for stargate sg1 in the coffin please dont add another to this series. Please KEEP ATLANTIS going!!.
I support this petition. If you want a fanbase for Universe you must keep Atlantis alive or else noone would want to get "hook" onto it with the chance of it being canceled as soon as it gets good.
