Damn right I support this petition. Having both SGA and SGU showing new episodes every week will only help ur ratings. I was about tho get SciFi HD, but I will think twice about it now.
I support this petition. Despite the fact that MGM and SciFi have promoted the show in the most low-budget fashion possible and have relegated it to the Black Hole of timeslots, SGA still perseveres, winning a People's Choice Award that proves it's the most popular SF show in America. Thanks to the high quality of this show and the dedication of its fans, MGM and SciFi make tons of money off SGA through DVD sales, advertising and merchandise, and yet they decide to kill it in favor of trying to slap loyal fans who have materially supported the show in the face with an appeal to a "younger audience" (read: teenage boys). I'm not sure where the logic in this is, but I think from a purely economic view (which is the only one MGM and SciFi are concerned with), they're shooting themselves in the foot. They're going to lose their fanbase - the dedicated, intelligent fanbase with all the disposable income they've been getting a chunk of all these years - and will be unable to lure a new one to buy action figures and DVDs. Look at the bottom line and renew SGA for a sixth season, and then maybe, just maybe, there might be a hope in hell for the continuation of this franchise.
I support this petition. Please keep Stargate Atlantis, There are no other decent scifi shows on any longer. Just lookmat the scifi channel all dam repeats.
I support this petition. Sg1 went on for 10 seasons, so by my count sga is owed at least another 5. It would be nice to keep at least one sg series running as a series!!!
SGA is a great show, even the ratings are showing how popular it is this year! Don't just dump it to create SG:Universe! And don't just dismiss the fans who buy the dvd's and merchandise.
I support this petition. I feel that the series needs more time to come to a proper conclusion. Secondly There is no reason not to have Atlantis and Univers both running together much like SG1 and Atlantis.

SGA is just the best scifi show on television right now. I understand the reason why they're cancelling the show but give us atleast 7 seasons instead of releasing the new stargate series which are 'for a younger audiance' ...we don't want that!!!
I support this petition. Atlantis is an awesome show and doesn't deserve to end yet. I was hoping it would go on for at least as long as SG-1 had gone on, we need to save SGA!
Too many good series are getting cancelled, and have been for a long time (anyone remember space: above and beyond, let alone firefly recently!). In a time when every other show on tv is mind-numbing reality-this and reality-that, networks must raise the game with fictional series that have a huge fan-base...don't abandon us just for the next "big Brother" or "Survivor" clone, becuase quite frankly the suck, and if i wanted to watch reality i'd look outside...or maybe watch the news!!! rant over

I loved all seasons of SGA and can't imagine why MGM is cancelling such a good show, i expected more like a 10 season show like SG-1.
I support this petition!!!!!!! Geez...they have the gal to put wrestling on a scifi channel, crappy movies and now cancel a 3rd great show. Whats next? Adding poker show to a scifi channel?
