To whom ever is in charge of making this stupid decision.I'm sure you have made enough money from this fantastic series to go and retire somewhere where you can do no harm. Put someone else in charge who knows a good thing when they see it.
My kids are 8yrs and 5 yrs old and they are just starting to watch the STARGATE series which they absolutely love!!!. Don't disappoint them.

If you mean to tell me that you will keep American Gladiators and not Stargate you have to be kidding me. You can have two stargate shows at the same time, it wont hurt anything.

I support this petition. Stargate Atlantis has been my favorite show since it first aired and I was very disappointed to hear of its cancellation. With all of the shows that are being canceled I am rapidly losing any motivation to watch TV at all!!!!!
I support this petition. Suits in Charge of Programming, use your heads! Give SGA at least one more season and use it as a lead in for your next project, as you did with SG-1/SGA. Ticking off your original, very loyal fanbase is a strikingly bad business move.
I support this petition. I have loved all the stargates (SG1 and Atlantis) and I look forward to the new shows for Atlantis every week. I was hoping that Atlantis would have as long a run as SG1. I hope you reconsider and give us fans a couple more years. I bought the (and will buy any further) Stargate movies. but here's a suggestion.. why not come out with a movie or two while Atlantis is still running??? If X-files can do it, why not Atlantis!!! make a great season closer and season opener a long movie (two of them) and send them to the theaters not just to dvd so fans will have to go to the movie just to keep up with the series!!!
I can't believe Sci-Fi cancelled Stargate Atlantis to make room for the unproved "Stargate: Universe" that's supposed to be aimed a "younger" audience.

The fans are what make or break a show and the companies that create and air them. The fans should never be ignored and just expected to "suck it up" and move on to whatever half-baked new toy the studios decide to offer as an unworthy replacement for the story and characters the fans have come to love.
I support this petition. Canceling SGA, a great show whose ratings are going up, is a mistake. Especially since it is being done strictly to make room for Stargate: Universe. We, the fans do not want another series or even one, maybe two, SGA movies. We want several more seasons of the show we love. Stargate Atlantis!

I ABSOLUTELY support this petition. What now? Star Trek DVDs again? It's the best show on tv, and I don't understand what these people are thinking by not going forward with the show. Friday nights will be very boring w/o Atlantis.
I can't believe they would even consider canceling this show! SGA is the best SciFi series I've ever seen - even better than SG1 imo. Canceling it prematurely would be a big mistake.
There is not enough high quality Sci Fi on TV now and they want to take more away from us? Why? To free up time and funding for a new show? How is that fair to the characters and the fans of Atlantis? Isn't it a little unfair to end a story in the middle just because you want to start a new one? I always thought it was good practice to FINISH what you STARTED!

What is Sci-Fi thinking??? Stargate Atlantis is the ONLY Sci-Fi show that I still bother watching, but after the season is over I will have no reason to tune in anymore. :-(
