i love the show its the only thing worth watching on TV the rest are seriously crap.Some crap love story or some crap action movie or a freakin "Movie"thats right the disaster movie or Meet the spartans ITS ALL FREAKIN CRAP.I got this 1 show worth watching and now its taken off the air...
I support this petition. I simply can't get my head around that they would end such a great show. I mean I've watched SG-1 since I was 7 years old and they broke my heart when they ended it. Please don't let SGA suffer the saim faith.
The real problem is that television watching is changing mediums. MGM has to figure out a way to keep airing great shows like this while making a profit and not trying to bum a dvd franchise off on this. A switch to online viewing where ad viewership can be better accounted for and more tv watchers could tune in at any time is the way to go. SGA should have at least made 7 seasons.
I am disgusted by the recent decision to cancel Stargate: Atlantis in favour of new opportunities that have a lower cost to Sci Fi in the long run, and thus support this petition.

Just when I thought SGA was starting to get it's 'sea legs', they go and do this. I suspect it has something to do with the fact that no one studio seems willing to take a stand and stick to its guns about bringing quality sci-fi to the masses. Sigh...

I have only just got into Stargate Atlantis two weeks ago, and have bought all the seasons that are currently out. The news that it will be cancelled after 5 seasons shattered me.
I support this petition. SGA still has a lot of fuel left in it. It's intelligent and a fun show to watch. There's not many other shows like it on tv. Why doom SGA to DVD movies?
NOOO they cant stop this show. its one of few shows worth watching. and here in the netherlands (where i live) we dont get too many good shows on tv anyway. dont stop this show . i can name a dozen of shows worth ending. but not this one

"Atlantis" and Fox's "24" are the ONLY television programming I watch. I am a master degreed, professional female of "a certain age", and I arrange my schedule of social events around these two programs. I watch Atlantis on reruns, DVD, twice on Friday nights. ARE YOU PEOPLE CRAZY? After SG-1 ended, the only SCI FI show worth watching has been SGA. Adios, SCI FI, you're history if you don't do SGA right.
