I support this petition. Cancelling one of the best/most popular sci-fi shows on TV is ludicrous, outrageous, and damn right stupid. Think about the fans and reverse this inane decision and go ahead with season 6 and beyond!!!!
Stargate Atlantis is one if the few shows of its type of sci-fi still on TV today. The show is really good. I think you should offer the show for download for $5/$10 per episode for high quality, AND keep making Stargate Atlantis.
The Stargate franchise is good, but it is the characters that make the show! I was angry when SG-1 got canceled, but now it is over with. I'm done with the Stargate franchise if Atlantis is not renewed. SGU might be a great show, but it will just end up getting canceled too.
I support this petition. The ideas they have for SGU should be used in SGA instead. or at the very least make a couple of SGA movies every year. Even I have lots of ideas that could be used for SGA-S6 & SGA movies.
I support this petition. SGA has got something very right and is simply the only decent sci fi currently in production. Letting it go would be a mistake. And when is it due for UK airing? RSC
I support this petition! Stargate Atlantis is my favorite show, much like SG1 was. I liked it very much when both SG1 and Atlantis aired. Then SG1 was cancelled... And now you're going to cancel Atlantis, too? I know there's a new Stargate show coming up and I'll probably like it as well. Still, I really like Atlantis and I would like to be able to see some more seasons of it! I'm a Stargate fan since the first movie over a decade ago and I'm only 24 years old now. So I'm a fan since I was a kid!
I support this petition!!!
Besides: If buying those Direct to DVD releases results in cancelling the TV shows and continuing htem on DVD, we might reconsider buyiong those DVDs!
I support this petition.
To whom it may concern
I would like to express my complete disgust at the news that stargate atlantis is ending after the current season. There is not any good reason for this move and you will find that there will be many other complains made for this move. TV movies will not be able to complete the story lines in any meaningful way they will be relatively short ,and will not allow for the natural development of the show which is essential for the continued sucsess of atlantis .you made this same mistake with SG-1 and although these stories were good you lost the core of what stargate is about, on going seasonal story lines that allow for more depth and increased empathy with the charecters.
Stargate universe is perhaps the future for the franchise, however atlantis should at least have one more season to conclude the stories that are not worthy of a movie . this would allow the movies to focus on a more compelling stories that will increase the viewing audience as they may even be a more stand alone format that does not require previous knolage of existing stories in the atlantis universe.
If this email has not arrived at the correct person who should see this kind of comment then i would request that it be forwarded to someone who at least will take note of it . and maybe take some of the opinions expressed in this email into account as I know this will not be the only email of this type that they will receive.
Many thanks
Scott Reid
Dissapointed fan of stargate
I strongly support this petition. New characters have just been introduced. You need to build on them more before you thrust them into twice a year movies.
Assuming that people would prefer movies over a series or that old fans would even be interested in SG: Universe is a big mistake.
People love SGA, don't let it die
I support this petition. We should not have to loose another of our Favorite shows. If people downloading it off the internet, is what is causeing you to not get your expected amount of money from each showing. Then release the show to the world at the same time. Don't leave contries a year or two behind.
Again, Sci-Fi has arrogantly denied its viewers another brilliant show. Bring the show back, and bring in a new management for the network. The current nincompoops are too out of touch with the fans.
