Every year I look forward to Super Soap Weekend. It makes me feel proud to be a soap fan and allows me to connect with other soap fans. To get rid of SSW in order to have other events throughout the year makes no sense. I don't have the time or the money to travel around the country multiples times a year to see a few soap stars. It makes more sense to have over 30 actors in the Happiest Place on Earth. Why not continue to have SSW and the other events, which has been working out fine for the past 13 years.

I have attended for the past five years and I love it. It's great revenue for Disney and a great vacation for the soap fans. I don't think a tour of sorts will work, mainly because the actors don't get that much time off from filming. With this weekend, it can accomodate a large crowd, 30+ stars, and yet still gives people the opportunity to get up close and personal. I think ABC, Disney, and Brian Frons will come to regret this decision. They may take it away in '09, but I'm sure it will be back in '10.
I support this petition. Please save SSW, I have been to every one and it has become a tradition to go and meet up with friends and get up close with all the stars from the Soaps. Where else can you go and see 31 stars in one place from all 3-4 shows? Year after year the parks have to close because of the sold out crowd, that should tell you Mr Fron how many thousands of Soaps Fan come and will be disappointed if SSW is discontinued.

My wife & step daughter really enjoy this mother/daughter weekend away together. They love seeing their soap stars all in 1 place. This event has brought many people together, many friendships were made there and people from all around the country have looked forward to this as a vacation to meet these new friends .
I support this petition absolutely and completely!!! I have been coming to SSW for the last few years with my teenage daughter. We always have a fabulous time! We love Disney and we love ABC soaps, and being able to combine a trip to disney with meeting our soap favs and vets such as Michael E. Knight and Greg Vaughan has made for some wonderful vacations for us to share. It has also been a great way to meet other soap fans and make new friends. If SSW truly does leave Walt Disney World for good, that will truly breaks many hearts, ours included. Being able to meet so many of our favorite soap stars all in one place, in an affordable and family friendly place, where the rest of the family can have fun and vacation at the same time, is really an important factor in being able to make this yearly trip. My daughter and I both hope that you will reconsider your decision to discontinue SSW at Walt Disney World. I hope you will listen to the many, many real voices of SSW fans who implore you to reconsider. Thank you!
I support this Petition. My mother and her friends and family make a girls weekend out for this yearly event. Not only does my mother deserve this so does countless other ladies who go every year! Please do not cancel this yearly event!!!!
