I want a finale! I can\'t beleive this! I want to see Aaron come home, Joan get married, Monica have her baby, Lynn\'s career to flourish! This is so unfair.
It saddens me to see that a television network that has been receiving support from the African American community for many years would so easily push its viewers and fans away as if they don\'t matter. Girlfriends has been a successful show and made plenty of money for the network. It is only fair that they are given a proper season finale. But then fair, is not how tv works huh? Hopefully another television network or any production office will take Girlfriends and finish it, or even make it a movie. Until then the CW should be boycotted!
Please have a finale for Girlfriends. I have supported this show form the beginning and now the network does not even have the courtesy to give the supporters a proper ending. That is really disrepectful to the viewers who support the network. I would like to watch other series but if this is how the African American shows will be handled then I feel that I should not watch the network and pass the information around to my friends who were also loyal viewers.
CW should have never taken off a series that was on for almost a decade without giving it a series finale. You will make people not want to watch other shows because of the fear that this will happen again.
I\'ve been a loyal fan of the show since it began. It more than deserves a proper series finale. Even a 30-minute special episode with a summary of how everything ends
I am very disappointed that Girlfriends is being cancelled but if it must be cancelled, please give it a proper series finale. This show has been a top-ranking show for eight years and I have watched it from day one, the loyal viewers like me and the actors deserve better. I hate to play the race card, but these shows that mainly cater to white people always get a proper sendoff, for example, gilmore girls, seinfield, will and grace, king of queens, must I go on???, Shows that black people love, Kevin Hill, Moesha, Half and Half, etc. just get cut off and that\'s just not fair. Please put the cast back together for at least a one hour finale with limited commercial interruption, at least let Joan and Aaron get married.
Come on! This is crap! This is why the good shows don\'t stay on or get the publicity that something like sex in the city get. Girlfriends is real and I\'ve loved it! Please give us a finale. I will not support anything on this station if this doesn\'t happen because it would be clear you don\'t care about your viewers!
This is why the CW is going down the crapper. They don\'t cater to the entire spectrum of TV viewership. They don\'t recognize a hit show if it slapped them in the face. If you don\'t bring back Girlfriends it will be a complete travesty. At least give it a good send off. You guys don\'t seem to have the pulse of the people. Just like you shoved Veronica Mars off in favor of Girlicious. What a joke! Don\'t even get me started with Half and Half and All of Us. The list goes on. You need to start making better choices or your network will soon see it\'s demise.
I hate that this show was cancelled but, I really think that it desires a season finale. the way that you all handle cancelling the show really was unfair. You all trying to do the same with game whats going on you don\'t want no africian american shows on CW
Don\'t let another show go without a proper ending. The network cancelled Half and Half (one of the top rated shows on CW )without an ending Now girlfriends
Girlfriends is my most favorite TV show. I hate to see it end, but even more than that, I hate to see it end with everything just hanging in the balance. Come on CW, let\'s end this thing right!
I thought this was a wonderful show and I was looking forward to other episodes. I don\'t know what happen to the elimination of Toni\'s character, but this would help give the show a little more flavor.
Girlfriends deserve to have a series finale it\'s probably the longest running show (upn) the CW has had. And once you give it a series finale bring Toni back for the final show and give it the closure it deserves to have.
I have watched this show for many years and feel that the characters are an extension of my own family. To abruptly end a show with talented and realistic writing and characters is in poor taste. Do these ladies and gents justice by not crying \
I can\'t believe they canceled the show I am very upset. This show gets women through the holes in life i really wish they can just continue with the show with just the three girls that are left. Please!
One of the supporters told the truth when she stated that Frasier, Cheers, Friends, Seinfeld get a proper finale, but why can\'t OUR shows get the proper finale the viewers deserve.
I have to agree, Joan deserves to have her dream wedding. We deserve to be able to watch it. Toni does need to make an appearance as to wrap things up properly. We as fans NEED this! lol. PLEASE!
I agree. I am tired of these networks using minority shows to get them off and running. Then once they have achieved success they just let the show go. Why is it okay for Frasier, Cheers, Friends and Seinfeld to get a proper goodbye and not our shows. I mention Frasier first because he is a producer on this show. Also I want to see Joan get married and Toni come back for the wedding. Joan deserves a wedding.
Once again it seems as if the African-American voice is being silenced in this country. We just aren\'t appealing unless we\'re playing sports, whoring around, or playing as the best friend or the villian. Why can\'t we have a show that shows \
Please give us a chance to see Joan walk down the aisle. I\'ve devote years to watching this show. I pray that the show will return next season. But if I can\'t get that wish, at least we as loyal fans, should get the gift of a proper send off. The CW has been slowly cancelling all of the shows that help get the station established. As one of the fans that help make this happened, I feel I have the right to strongly demand a proper ending to a tell that I\'ve followed, and you\'ve profited from, for so long!!
The show and us fans deserve to see the show go out in style. The style in which we are accustom to seeing Girlfriends. Loyal watchers of Girlfriends and the CW deserve this much!
