I find it ridiculous to cancel girlfriends. I mean you take of one of the few black television shows for some damn pussycat show!!! so cares about seeing wanna be singers..thats what american idol is for. I mean u actually think the pussycat audition will get as much hype as American Idol...i think not.
I agree with other viewers. GIVE THE SHOW A PROPER SEND OFF!!!!!!!!After all they did bring money to your network.If you brought 1 Tree Hill back for the white viewers. do us black viewers the same justice!!!!!!!!!!!!signed an angry black girlfriend
I have been a faithful viewer since the very first episode, and I think it would be a disgrace to just let the show end, we need a farewell episode, especially seeing how this is the #1 rate Black TV show
There are no other primetime TV shows that feature African-American women in positive roles. If the show must end, at least dignify us with a proper finale.
the groundbreaking afro-american series deserves a proper series finale. this show has brought alot of familys togther and help out women and men of all ages threw there own life's struggle. We ask you to bring the show back and finish the season out with the proper episodes and finale the cast and us deserves!!!!!!!!!show some RESPECT! for the people that watch and made this show what it is today. one of the best top black sitcoms on t.v
This was such a good show even with the recent changes. It is a shame that they are ending it this way. It is truly disrespectful to the cast as well as the fans to not give it a proper ending and give us ALL some closure. My girlfriends will definitely be missed!
How are the ratings calculated. Friends and I gather every Monday evening and to my surprise last Monday I was watching Pussycat dolls...are you serious. Pussycat (no content) versus Girlfriends. At least give the show its proper ending with weekly shows. Joan should have her wedding, my should have her baby, will should have his child with Monica and Lynn's singing career should take off. 7th Heaven was brought back when they had their seasn finale. Girlfriend's can be brought back for one final season. Don't take one of th few positive African American Shows we have. If this an all white cast, they would get a final season and a finale.
I love this show!!! I don't want it to go off air. If that is going to happen...We need a better ending. Is Lynn going to finally get a record recorded. William and Monica's baby. What's going to happen with Mya and Darnell? Will Tony come back to say goodbye. Joan going to meet up with her husband and get pregnant????I need something good to end on!!!
I have been watching Girlfriends from the very beginning and I love the show. Why is the CW cutting off the only good African American television show? If they MUST cut if off then give us a PROPER series finale so we have something to remember. Bring back Toni and Todd with baby Morgan so the show can end the right way. Im tired of shows ending without a proper series finale.
let them stay we need more girlfriends show every monday i watch girlfriends and i love all of them so keep girlfriends on for good because it is about day to day life so do not stop the show thank you and keep it on for good show are not the same but this one is real good so keep girlfriend
I am very upset that Girlfriend has been cancelled. I love the show. There is a reason it was the longest running African American series. It needs to be put back on the air and if not atleast an series finale. ALSO BRING TONI BACK !!
I just can't believe that the show is ending, especially like this. Its just not right. I haven't known any show to go on for over 5 years and not have a proper ending. Its not right!!!
If Girlfirends ends this way I will not support another black sitcom on CW b/c they can not be trusted to be loyal to fans and end shows in the proper way. Girlfriends needs to end with finally seeing Joan get married and with her and Toni making up.

This is RIDICULOUS!!!There is no reason for this show to be canceled! It is the second most watched black television show by African Americans! It is wrong to end such a good show and it's even more wrong that it wouldn't even have a proper series finale!
Show some respect to the black community....this show offered so much reality to the lives of many black girlfriends. This show along with The Game and Americas Next Top Model is the only reason I watch CW. By not doing a proper finale is Moesha, Half
CW you need to reconsider how you are putting an end to this show. this show has been on the air for 8yrs and the least you could do is give it a proper ending. i continue to be disappointed by this station and will consider no longer watch any of your shows.
I have been a loyal fan on Girlfriends for 8 years. I am very sad and mad to hear that Girlfriends will not get a series finale. There are not many shows on tv where they show educated black women and men. I will not watch the CW network if Girlfriends doesn't get a proper series finale.
if it were a white show like Gossip Girls or one tree hill they would be billboards broadcasting final episodes...Girlfriends is by far the best show created.
Girlfriends is a GREAT run and I've followed the show since day 1. It is not fair that we don't at least get a proper series finale. I think that you can do the fans a favor and tape one last final episode.
after such a great run, its sad that this show couldnt have a proper series finale, which is what it deserves. It was finally a show that portrayed black women as something other than what most people know. The show deserves a proper ending.
