Please bring girlfriends back. At lest for one season. We have been through channel changes, cast changes, time slot cancellations and now this. We deserve an ending. This is why the CW is just hanging on. We will take any slot just bring it back !! I support this petition.

I support this petition wholeheartedly! I miss this show. Finally a show about women of color with real life issues, and it was abruptly taken off the air...such a disappointment. BRING THE SHOW BACK at least to provide CLOSURE!

I personally think its offensive that the CW didn't have the decency to allow "Girlfriends" to end properly and have a series finale or finish out their 9 additional episodes. This is rude and disrespectful to its fans, and I for one am ready to boycott, to get what its fans deserve!!!!

I think girlfriends is one of the only shows portraying diverse, succesful, african-american women going through the realistic life issues that all of us face. It's sex in the city for women of color and I really think that no other show can (or has been able to) take its place.
