We deserve to see Joan married, Lynn with a successful career, the birth of William's baby and the rebirth of Maya's career as a successful series finale. This network will leave African Americans with no quality shows of our own to watch! How disappointing!
It will be unforgivable, if CW11 ends the show prematurely. I sincerely hope that the show is not taken off! I am a 40 something indiv-female, who delights in watching some of the real life situations played out on screen that affect me. Please, do not end the show, and if u do, please be respectful to your viewers and end the show in a dignified manner, as you would if this were a Caucasion viewed sitcom please. Respect Us!
It's crazy how a network coames in and slowly but surely takes away all the shows that wwere on UPN. shows total disrespect for their viewers and it also shows who this network is catering to.

Please allow GIRLFRIENDS to have a proper send off. It is very unfair to loyal viewers that the network would cancel the show without a proper ending. Please accept this petition that will hopefully force the network to do the right thing.
I have been a fan of the show since the beginning and feel I, along with the cast and crew, deserve closure. This is a wonderful, positive show about women with a purpose.
Please don't cancell that show because that is mostly all I watch on Mondays on that channel. If you take that out then you might as well cancel that channel.
It would be great if Girlfriends came back next season. If it does not come back then at least let it have a proper goodbye. It's been 8 years, a proper goodbye is only fair.
I have been a loyal Girlfriends viewer for all eight seasons and I was extremely disappointed to hear about the abrupt end to the show. I feel that after eight successful seasons, if indeed you must cancel the show, it should at least go out with a bang. I think that it is owed to the loyal viewers of Girlfriends to at least have a season finale. I hope that the television execs at the CW will hear and listen to the outcry of the loyal fans to this great show!
I really don't understand why you would leave Girlfriends hanging like that. At least give them a proper series finale so people will get a chance to reminiscence over the years what Girlfriends has meant to them. Please CW give us Girlfriends until May!!!!

Please allow the actresses and actors the opportunity to go out on a high note with a final farewell. It would be the proper ending for a show that has provided so much entertainment for so many people.

Please give this show a proper ending. It would be rude after SO LONG to just quit on the show. We've watched these women over a span of EIGHT years. A show with this much tenure deserves PROPER closure!
It is really sad that such a successful show is being treated with such disrespect. I have followed this show since day one and am disheartened and baffled as to why this show has NEVER gotten the recognition it deserves.
There aren't many black shows for black women out there. Actually there are none. To cancel this show would be of great disservice to a segment of the american population that is almost always ignored for something
Girl Friends has been around and loved by many people. I personally have been watching the show since the very beginning. Like any show that has been around for a period of time, you feel a connection and this show deserves to have a great ending. This is a reflection of the network and will show how the network cares about the viewers. I would hope that the network would take the viewers and the network's image into consideration.
If CW doesn't give Girlfriends a proper end - which I think has the ability to still last one more season - I swear I would no longer watch CW at all or any of its wake ass sitcoms. And that's including The Game and Supernatural - which are (unfortunately) two of my favorites!!

please do not take my show away like that i love my girlfriends i can not stress it enough that there are a lot of faithful fans who will be very disappointed and will discontinue watching the station based on they way u treat them and this is not the way .....i speak for all the females out there who want to see Aron return from Iraq,Monica and William have there baby and and Mya and Darnel adopt a baby girl after losing there baby and who knows maybe lynn will settle down and become a huge star and tony will return but how will we ever find out if we don't get a proper farewell .
