The show Girlfriends deserve a well thought out departure that is appropriate this show. Finish the storylines. This is not the Sopranos. Each story should have an ending, whether it be happy or sad. It's only right.
this is an awesome show and all we are asking for is a finale... we want to say goodbye to an old friend see joan be happy and have her boyfriend back from iraq... please it's just one night.

Please keep the show rolling. Girlfriend is like the blck version of FRIENDS that we (African americans and causian) enjoy watching... Dont take that away.

I think it's very innapropriate to cancel the show abruptly without at least having a finale. A lot of people adore this show and to take it away from us like this is unfair. How would you feel if this would happen to you? This was my favorite show and I'm sure it is the same for millions other people...Please but the show back on, we miss it so much,,,
what more can I say! this show deserves a proper season finale!! I wish the show would have a few more seasons, but if it's the end its earned the right to end in a proper way.
I have been watching this since it first came on tv. I am an avid fan of Girlfriends. Many women, regardless of race, could relate to every issue that was portrayed on the show. I wholeheartedly ask the CW network to let them have a proper season finale.
After all of the success and publicity that Girlfriends has brought to the network, it is only appropriate to allow proper closure for this show. For a network to cancel such a powerful show, mid-season, reflects a deep lack of respect for both the crew and fans of Girlfriends. CW shouldn't disregard the fans wishes now that the show is being cancelled. They took all things into consideration when the show was making $$$!!! Do the right thing. After all, fans of the show may just abandon the network altogether, now that our voices aren't being heard.
