This petition has one purpose: To Stop the bailout. There are other options that need to be looked at. This petition is a way for each and every American to tell their elected officials to rethink this bailout!

1. "We the PEOPLE" DEMAND that our elected officials ELIMINATE ALL capital gains taxes and taxes on savings and dividends RIGHT now!

2. "We the PEOPLE DEMAND that our elected officials Repeal Sarbanes/Oxley. It has failed. It was proposed to fix this problem and it hasn't. KILL it!

3. "We the PEOPLE" DEMAND that our elected officials demand that the executives who steered their ships into the ground be FORCED to PAY BACK the losses of their companies. If they are unable to do so, then make them work as we the "ordinary PEOPLE" do and give back what they STOLE.

4. "We the PEOPLE" DEMAND that our elected officials find other means to resolve this problem other than this $700 BILLION BAILOUT. Americans do NOT want to be responsible for the irresponsibility of those on Wall Street.
