You Lindens keep closing comments after a limit is reached on your blogs --- I guess because you get flamed too much for your dumbass decisions. Anyway --- what you keep doing to please the reporters is in fact destroying your world. Your conservative christian friends who support you in the blogs don't mean **** to the people who come here to ESCAPE reality and not be pinned down under it by people who are absolutely TERRIFIED of anything beyond missionary sex or bare THIGHS. You are destroying what Second Life was created for, tearing down freedom and democracy and installing American tyranny and Big Brother into what was once a perfectly beautiful, fun fantasy world for people to be whoever and whatever they want to be, free of persecution by ignorant outsiders. You are terrorists now.

If you keep bowing to pressure from the outside world --- people who are ignorant and assume anything they see is reality even if it's inside an obvious fantasy world ---- you'll be losing thousands --- if not millions --- of dollars. When you lose your source of income, what do you smug corporate scumbags have to smile about then? NOTHING. Your world will be dead before you know it if you ban furries because some ignorant german reporter thinks they're all about beastiality and raping animals against their will, or if you ban BDSM and the D/s lifestyle because some prissy christian is afraid of it and tells all their friends how evil and immoral SL is for including it. So cut the crap and focus on the citizens of SL, not some outsider who has no clue what they're talking about and no idea how to make news without trying to make a zinger out of it.

The people have the right to enjoy this fantasy world, unmolested. Their fantasies are just that: fantasies. SL is the only free virtual world of its kind that offers the ability to indulge in fantasies without actually causing harm to anyone or anything. None of it is real --- it is all scripts, polygons, and primitive geometric shapes. That is what makes it so brilliant. You can choose to be a demon in Second Life and stomp on people in ruined cities and when the affected parties including yourself get off of SL, everyone is a normal human being again until they get back on SL. If they cannot enjoy it, then they surely won't pay membership dues to you, nor bother with expensive land fees and island purchase fees. Why waste time in a world that has senseless leadership? More importantly, why waste real money in such a world? The people want change. And they want it now. If you refuse to listen, you will start seeing your money go away FAST. So you decide --- wanna please the media and go broke, or get a bad media rep but be profitable and successful?
