Sexual assault and rape is a form of violent dominance over another person. The majority of rapes are committed by men against women, and therefore should be considered an act of misogyny and forced power over women. This should be classified as a hate crime as well as a sexual assault, with both the gender, race, orientation, religion AND age of the victims considered as a target of hatred. It would be difficult for offenders to escape the charges of both rape and committing a hate crime, and more and more of these monsters will be sent and kept in jail for they did.

Please sign this petition which will be brought first to the Massachusetts senate, and, with more support, to other states until it reaches Washington D.C. and is made a national law.
