HELP SAVE CYOAS AND/OR SELF INSERTS!!!!! First fanfiction.net started to delete them. Now mediaminer.org is doing the same thing!! Us authors/authoresses can't just sit back and watch our work being deleted! Sign this petition and help save CYOAs and Self Inserts!!

I imagine a perfect world. And in that perfect world, FanFiction.net and MediaMiner.org - the two leading literary websites, as far as I know - allow CYOAs and Self Inserts. In my perfect world, we do not need to sign these petitions because haters suck it up and leave CYOAs alone. Back to reality...with a disturbing shock I find myself back in this less-than-perfect-land, where freedom of press is dwindling down so that soon we will not even be able to print what we wish. As they say, freedom is not free, especially for CYOAs, and I am proud to support all CYOAs and petitions in their favor. I do not just wander along and just because it's a CYOA love it...after all, I like my stories well-written and with a good plotline that I am interested in...but still, were we not brought up believing in one of the freedoms, the freedom of the press? When we first joined FF.net and MM.org, were CYOAs allowed? What notion - what ideal - is their deletion based upon? That and the return of CYOAs is what I wish to see. Our founding fathers would be muchly dissatisfied with the chaos and turmoil deletion of CYOAs has brought. So while I cannot put words in their mouths, I at least know of some founding sisters who like CYOAs. Some founding brothers, too. We are those who support CYOAs. AND LET CYOA'S LIVE, DAMMIT!!!

WE MUST SAVE THEM!!! CYOA's are the readers choice to read, just becasue they have been put on your site, doesn't mean you havta read them, so I don't think that site should take them off...
