In viewing the late night reruns that have been airing recently in the New York/New Jersey/Conneticut area at 2 AM on various stations, it is apparent that laying in your vaults are the rarest of musical treasures in the performances of not only well-known and established classic artists, but also of lesser-known and all but forgotten artists and their songs, many of which are no longer heard on commercial or satellite radio. However, according to Mr. Cornelius, he who holds the key to the official release of the Soul Train archives, THERE IS NO MARKET FOR SUCH AN UNDERTAKING. The undersigned clearly disagree.

In viewing the official Soul Train website, we are immediately hit with a disclaimer, asking that we, the loyal supporters of Soul Train over the last three decades, not support, purchase or sell "illegal" copies of Soul Train episodes. The fact that you acknowledge that there are those who sell and obviously those who buy these DVDs poves without a shadow of a doubt that there is a market for such an endeavor, and completely renders Mr. Cornelius' thoughts on this matter virtually null and void. Therefore, we the undersigned, respectfully request the release of the entire Soul Train series on DVD, packaged season by season, at the intervals of 1-2 seasons per year.
