Release Soul food on dvd. It's a shame that we have to go through these measures to get this series released. Maybe if the price was more reasonable then you guys would have sold more. A petition isn't for Sex in the city, and it shouldn't be needed for soul food.

Please release seasons 2-5 on dvd. The idea that you are making fans of the show wait years and years to view the entire show is horible. Futhermore, the fact that other shows that are new to tv (the oc and one tree hill) are released within weekes after the season ends, is also unfair to soulfood fans. I could go on and on and i really don't want to make this a racial issue, but i would like the other seasons released on dvd for pete's sake!!!

Please release all of the seasons of Soul Food. That series helped me in so many of my marital situations. I love Soul Food and I wish it never ended. But since it did I would love to have the collection at my finger tips. Please release the series 2-5 for all of us "Fans" who love watching that "Real Drama" from our favorite actors and actresses. Many the lesser shows that have been on TV and not as successful has Soul Food have been released on DVD about 6-12 months after their run date. The release of Soul Food on DVD is long overdue.
The Soul Food series was not aired in the U.K. I was lucky enough to watch seasons 1&2 & some episodes of seasons 3&5.Paramount owe to fans to release all the Soul Food series as they do with other popular Tv shows.The film Soul Food was well recieved in the U.K, the release of series 1 on DVD was the only way U.K fans could catch this awesome show,we are & have been waiting in anticipation of further releases.
I was a faithful viewer of Soul Food every Wednesday. I made sure that nothing interrupted me being able to watch Soul Food. Now that it's off the air, I don't watch television anymore. I am still watching the first season on DVD... I could probably say each character's lines verbatim. Why is it that Soul Food isn't on dvd when every season of Sex in the City and the other GAY shows are on DVD??? I think that's very unfair. Please put seasons 2-5. There always seems to be an excuse as to why a good black drama is taken off the air or not treated like other dramas. WE WANT SOUL FOOD SEASONS 2-5 ON DVD...NO EXCUSES!!
This is a quality show. I would think that only a small amount of sales is needed to make a DVD of an already-aired TV show profitable. Perhaps if a season by season package is not a good use of resouces, a box set of all 5 seasons would be appropriate.
Please release all the Soul Food DVD's. I wasn't able to see the show when it was on Showtime. Everyone I know talked about how great it was. I have the first season DVD & now watching the 2nd season on DVD, but I'd like to have my own collection. People want to buy it and see it. Again please release all the seasons.
Give people a chance to buy seasons 2-5.You never know it just might sell. Over the years i have gotten plenty of people to watch the series. Now they want to see what they have missed. Please release the last seasons of Soul Food.
It's really a shame that season 2-5 of Soul Food is not released on DVD. Guess nobody cares about the many fans of the great show. Without the fans, there wouldn't be a show!
I have been waiting for Season 2 of Soulfood for a year and a half now. I get upset when i try to research it and no one seems to have it. It may have picked up slow for DVD sales but just wait until you do realease the other seasons. You will not believe the come back. It is shmeful a petition has to be started in order for fans to get the one of the best tv series on disc. There have been other tv shows that are not even close to being as good as Soul food pop up on dvd, just like that. Now what is your problem........I'm waiting!
I just wanted to say that they should have put the rest of the series out on dvd long time ago we shouldn't have to petition to get it done. if this was the series friends, it would have been out the next day after the show was over. So lets get this done my fellow soulfood fans
Pretty please with sesons 2-5 on top. I want my soul food reruns. I'm in Germany and I would love to watch them. So if you guys at showtime ever had a movie or series that you watched and wanted to see it over and over at your own leisure. Then you would understand where we're coming from. So all of the 143 of us that signed this petition want and will buy seasons 2-5 if you just release them. Thanks in advance.
This wonderful show left the air before all the stories were told . . . then was abruptly yanked from Showtime into an abridged and inconsistent forum on BET. Paramount, at the very least, allow us the FULL benefit of what was shared - the stories that entered the lives and hearts of so many across the nation and world - Do the right thing -FREE SEASONS 2-5!!!
I purchased season 1 and I will gladly purchase seasons 2-5. I did not get the opportunity to watch every show. Soul Food seasons 2-5 will make a wonderful addition to my library. Please hear our voices and respond responsibility.

Release Sesaon 2-5 on DVD ASAP. Avid SOul Food viewers are already suffering since it went off the air, at least we can enjoy the phenomenal series on DVD. Please release so fans as myself and purchase the DVD's and add the Joseph Family to our collection of favorites.
I am a soldier who is stationed in Korea. Being away from home, we live off of the entertainment from movies. I just recently purchased the first season of Soul Food and haven't finished watching it yet. But, I already know that I am going to want more! I came online in search of the next season to purchase so that it could be waiting for me when I finish watching the first season. When I found out that the first season was the only season on DVD I was disappointed! I don't get regular cable over here and it would make me so happy if season two as well as the other seasons where put on DVD. I've found os much comfort in watching the show and it brings warmth into my heart. It's like having a family while I am far, far away from home. PLEASE, help a soldier out!!!!!!
I love the soul food series. I recently bought the it and went crazy looking for the next season to only find out it was never released. The first season has me hooked can I have more?
This series, though truly entertaining, was much more than just a tv drama to me. It was a reflection of the trials and tribulations, the joy and pain, the love and sometimes short-lived hated that I have witnessed and lived as an African American female. The relationships were real and true to form. The characters and the story lines depicted a true facet of Black people that has never been shown on a continuum in the media in the form of a dramatic series. This series is an important one to me and I ask of you to consider releasing seasons 2-5 on DVD. I would love to be able to enjoy the lessons learned from this series with my adult daughters and my "growing up" granddaughters.
Soulf food was a show I scheduled my time around each week to make sure I was home to watch the show. Having the DVD's would be an excellent addition to anyones collection, including myself.
I subscribed to showtime only to be able to watch soulfood, and it is disturbing to hear that paramount refuses to release season 2-5 on dvd. For whatever the excuse is please release the dvd so that all Soulfood lovers such as myself can have a complete collection of one the best shows in a very long time.
I loved season one of soul food. I am anxiously awaiting the release of subsequent seasons. Soul Food fans deserve the same material as fans of such shows as Sex and the City, the Wire, Sopranos, Six Feet Under. Showtime, do not allow yourselves to be outdone by HBO!
Soul Food is one of the best shows to ever come to television. The show has shown an aspect of love among the black family that is rarely seen. Even if the series didn't sell well it should be provided for the people who want to see it.
I am a great supporter of the Soul food Series and only subscribed to Showtime for that series,I am extremely disturbed that the rest of the seasons have yet to be released on DVD! There is no excuse to take 2 years to release a new DVD.
Its only fair if you start something you should finish it. Its unfair to get us hooked on the first season and leave us in suspense about the car accident.

Like a parched person thirsting for water is how I'm desperately anticipating Seasons 2-5. I'm completely HOOKED and don't get Showtime, so I have to get it where I can. If the series were on DVD, it would make it much easier (and enjoyable) to view from home. Please release the series!!
