I also feel cheated. Release the following seasons, and don't charge $90 for each! That's insane. MSRP should be $59.99 at MOST. I am looking forward to these releases.
I am one of those Soul Food fans who just bought the first season on dvd. I watched an episode one day and was so hooked that I decided to go get the dvds to catch up on all the episodes that I had never seen. I am definetely hanging in the bushes waiting for seasons 2-5 to come out. I just watched the car accident (season finale) yesterday and I promise, I feel so anxious to see the other episodes. I am so happy to see that there are other fans who care about this series just as much as I do.

I was searching the web to buy Soul Food and discovered the petition link. I was surprised and very disappointed to find out that season 2-5 was not available yet.

I've been waiting forever and checking all the websites hoping to see the release date of the next season of Soul Food. I wouldn't even watch the series when BET airs it because i want to sit down like i did with the first season, and watch them all in order. Please hurry and release the next season!
I am a huge Soul Food fan and was very upset when they were taken off of the air. I have the first season, and I anxiously await for the remaining seasons. Every night, I am checking the channel guide to see if an episode may be coming on. If you are a true "Soul Food" fan, you can never get enough. I read somewhere in this website that the second season will be released on November or December of this year. That would be a great Christmas gift for me. My beautician and I would make dinner for each others families to look at Soul Food when they were on the air. Why were they taken off of the air in the first place. It was a very popular show among the African American society.
I am glad to see others feel the same as I do about soul food.I dont understand why they have released every other showtime series on dvd and only season one of this show because this was a outstanding show , and i sincerely hope that we are all able to view this heartfelt show in the comfort of our own homes for episode after episode eventually.
I am a HUGE fan. It never aired on any Canadian channels and so I didn't get to watch it while it was on. I never get to see it on BET so the only way for me to watch it is on DVD. Please consider those who are now hooked but can't continue to enjoy such a wonderful drama.
I seen all the episodes but I need to complete the set. I love Soul Food and I don't think it is right to have everything else out like sex in the city and not soul food. Please we need the complete set.
I didn't have Showtime, so therefore I could not watch Soulfood at the time it aired
on T.V.. I did however buy season 1

Please release other seasons of Soul Food to DVD. Other shows have been on dvd such as Sex in the City, why not Soul Food? How much longer do we have to watch BET play a couple of episodes from Season 1 over a million times?

I was a faithfull fan of soulfood when on Showtime.. it was the only reason i had showtime and have not had it since the show ended. i am aiating season 2 as i enjoy watching season 1
Soul Food Series convert from UK. Finally treated myself to season 1 on dvd. Have searched iternet high and low for other seasons. We don't get BET or Showtime in UK so I am seriously stranded in relation to what happens next. Please, please, please please, please release the subsequent seasons on dvd!
I totally enjoyed Soul Food Season 1 on DVD especially since I was deployed to Qatar. It made for interesting entertainnment and was very close to real life drama. I have been waiting for Season 2 to be released on DVD and is very disappointed that it has not. WHEN!!!!!!!Thnaks Claudia
I love this show--I watched the first season in 5 days. Please proceed with the release of Season 2 to 5. I would buy them the first week. My husband and I buy between 35 and 30 movies a year--in addition to seeing about 20 movies at the theatre.
I LOVE this show unfortunately I was unable to watch all the time when it was on showtime but did buy the first season and watched it reguarly on BET for the last few months. Anyway I really would LOVE for seasons 2-5 to be released on dvd. This show is wonderful the bond that they have as a family really reflects love and their are many shows that show that. Please release seasons 2-5 on dvd.
Paramount, please, add seasons 2-5 of your critically acclaimed series "Soul Food" to your TV-series DVD sets catalog. What a spectacular drama for not only African-Americans but for lovers of good drama to embrace and be uplifted by. I, like many others around the world--who were loyal viewers of the series--find it extremely offensive that I have to petition to get the remaining seasons released. And should you release the remaining seasons, please, do not price-gouge potential buyers; set a reasonable retail price--unlike you did upon your release of season 1. Thank you!
I am a new fan of Soul Food, and would like to see all the seasons. I have been watching on BET, and have not yet purchased season 1 becasue I did not have any knowledge of it's existence. I will purchase it, and hope to be able to purchase the others in the future

SORRY, that the first season didn't sell that well but people such as myself love Soul Food and would love to have it. Maybe Paramount should only have a certain limit and sell what they sold last season. That way that want lost so much money from marketing. "Just an idea." Please release Soulfood series 2-5 on DVD. It is important for us as African Americans to see the positivity that this show relects which is the Black family. It looks mighty bad that the other shows are released on DVD before the last show is aired. We have to wait almost 4 years since the last airing of Soulfood and we are still WAITING! We will purchase them once they are released!
I also hope that now that Soul Food is on BET more pepole will see it and want to own it. One problem with BET, they were showing the series in order then some Einstein in programming changed the line-up and interrupted the flow. Now it comes on sporadically. I tried to write BET about this but their website sucks.

I think that 'Soulfood - The series' is a must have collectors item and should most definitely be released on
DVD. There no show to date on television that has ever made me feel like i can relate 100% to the experience.
Why Soul Food the Series 1-5 have not been released. The show more than a competitor to Nick and Jessica show. It would be a delight to have soul food to the avid viewer of the show. Why should we as African Americans beg for the release of a show that we as viewers adore and love. Paramount have release many miniseries date after date and never consider to release the remainder of SOUL FOOD. Shame on Paramount.
