I support this petition.I watched it fathfully every wednesday on my tv I really wish they would release the other seasons I want to add them to my collection and the need to have more pr. on the matter maybe they would have better results in sell I did not know the first season was out until I walked past it in the store paramount please release these I would like to contact them to voice my opinion
It makes no sense to me that shows like the Sopranos, Sex and the City and other such productions are shot straight to DVD, but productions based on black characters have to sustain a ten year waiting period (i.e. the Cosby Show) for the complete series to be available for fans to purchase? Is it discrimination, stupidity or both? Let's get a move on!
I fully support this petition, especially since my husband and I have been stationed in Germany for the past 5 1/2 years, and the only opportunity we've had to view this fabulous show is via DVD. Believe me when I say that the Military Community is anxiously awaiting Seasons 2-5 of this wonderful show, and will fully support future releases by quickly purchasing season 2!
I support this petition. I loved the show and will purchase it no matter what, but there should be better advertisement for it and the price for the set could be cheaper then $80.00 that's what I paid when it was first released.
Paramount, you are losing a great deal of money here. I purchased season 1, and would purchase seasons 2-5, if they were available. There must be issues - please resolve them quickly, before fans lose interest. Thank You.
I implore you to release the remaining seasons of Soul Food. I have been hooked on the series since the first show aired on Showtime. I have purchased the first season and I have had the other seasons on my Christmas list for two years now. No one was ever able to find it for me. It wasn't until I did an internet search that I discovered that I can't purchase the other seasons. I am sure Soul Food would sell better than some other Showtime shows like The L word or Dead Like Me.
Iam a huge fan of the Soulfood series and I am desperately waiting for you to release the rest of the series on dvd. If the first season didnt sell as well, try advertising, publicity. Paramount has no one to blame but themselves.

I beleive if they release the DVD and it appears on the shelves of Walmart, Best Buy etc - the market will be there for all 5 seasons - if there is a market for good times and what's happening then I know there is a market for SOUL FOOD! AN EXCELLENT PROGRAM!!!!!!
Please release seasons 2 - 5 on DVD's; I purchased season #1 several months ago, and have been waiting for the other seasons to be released. I would like to see what happened after the car accident.
Please release the rest of Soul Food. I watched the 1st season on DVD and was on a mad dash everywhere from Blockbuster, Best Buy and online looking for the next season. Its a great show and I would love to see released possible for Black History Month. I know how marketers try to position products. Thanks

I go to Blockbuster everyday looking in the television series sections and am constantly disappointed when I do not see that 2nd season out. That last episode with the car crash scene left me hanging too. I like to watch Soul Food for its positive portrayal of the endurance of family. Although Terri's marriages didn't work out, her two sisters are hanging in there, regardless of the obstacles. Even the Joseph sisters, regardless of their fights among each other (and they do have some nasty ones), come back together. That is inspiration for real-life families who stop speaking to each other as a result of less significant problems. I have five sisters, and Soul Food brings our relationships into perspective. Like the Joseph sisters, we don't let anything come between us either and it's nice to know that we can all get together for family gatherings without any mess that keeps us from speaking to each other and "being sisters." So whether I have to buy seasons 2 through 5, or I can rent them, either way, I need my Soul Food!

Although some of the writing was insulting, it was the first drama series that showed black people as black people, so what is up Paramount. I see you get all those white movies out pretty speedily.
And here I thought I was the only one calling Paramount daily for more Soul Food!!! I have been anticipating season 2 for some time now. Season 1 may not have sold well because of the outrageous price for the box set, who has $80 for dvds? But now season 1 is being sold for $29.99 at walmart, I am sure it will sell now. Please release Season 2 ASAP so that I can finally find out what becomes of everyone after the car crash! And please release all of the other seasons in a timely manner as well. Nobody wants Extreme Makeover the Home Edition, but I see that's on dvd! I love Soul Food, and my whole family and even my boyfriend are hooked because we purchased the box set.
