This is not fair to the fans who loved soul food and wanted to collect the seasons. Every time blacks get a good show going the either cancel it or give it bad publicity. I want my soul food like they want their MTV
a wonderfull , intuative and totally engaging series which we all know is a number one for any channel wanting to boost its ratings. If there are no plans to release 2-5, let us know now and put end to the waiting masses of soulfood fans. better yet , tell us when now.
The Soul Food series is the best tv show EVER!! I saw one episode and got hooked!! I bought season one on dvd and watched the entire season in one weekend!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE release seasons 2-5 on dvd SOON!!!!
It amazes me that Soul Food the series had accomplised so much, but has yet to recieve the respect of Paramount by releasing the remaining seasons on DVD. I believe we have waited enough for some respect.
I am one of the diehard fan of Soulfood on Showtime. I already brought season 1, and I was really surprised that seasons 2-5 have not been out yet. I hope many people,like myself, signed this petition, so they can get the ball rolling with the rest of the seasons on DVD. So I pray, soon, it will be in stores.

why is that, not being racist but aware, that it is quick and easier for "white shows" to come out more often and be advertise more than black shows. To this day no man is equal to the white man so nor should we have his same rights. for example, friens is on what season released? and fresh prince of bel air is on what? i havent seen it in stores since the one time i seen it on tv. What about the cosby's? a show that we could all relate to? but far as soul food seasons, i will get as many people to sign for these seasons to come out, not for me who watches the show, but for my wife who loves the show.

I loved Soul Food!!! I watched it every time it was on and now that it comes on BET i still get to see it. I would love to have the complete collection for my DVD collection. If they can have Friends, Will and Grace and whatever else on DVD, why not one of "our" shows?

This is a very significant show in drama .. I see Sex and The City on TV and edited (TNT) and unedited versions and at the same time DBDs are being sold. It baffles me why we only have the edited version of SOul Food (BET) and only Soul Food's first version being available. All versions should be available on DVD and it also should be shown (unedited) on Showtime again (to boost Showtime's sagging ratings !!)

It's a shame that so many other complete television series have gone to DVD in such a quick time. Soul Food has only season one on DVD and fans want it all. This dynamic show is a testament to black family and love and we (fans) would like the same support of this show that other series have gotten. Please I want my Soul Food!
I purchased Soul Food Season 1 on DVD. I would love to purchase Seasons 2-5. I can't believe that the DVDs for seasons 2-5 are not ready for purchase by the public yet. What's taking so long?
